Chris Algieri And Manny Pacquiao Over the weekend, the Clash in Cotai 2 press tour stopped at The Venetian and The Palazzo® Las Vegas. Upon entering The Venetian, the main event fighters – Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri – flanked by the Top Rank Knockouts, were greeted by fans that had lined the Grand Colonnade hours before the fighters’ arrival. The fighters are on a 12-day, 27,273-mile media tour to promote the November 22, fight at the Cotai Arena in The Venetian Macao. During their stop, Pacquiao and Algieri met with Team Members of The Venetian and The Palazzo, and participated in a Q&A session in The Palazzo’s Waterfall Atrium. “I want to thank the Venetian and all the fans who came here today,” said Pacquiao to the fans who were cheering on in the Waterfall Atrium. “Please don’t miss this fight on November 22. The Original MTV VJ'S The Original MTV VJs, Alan Hunter, Martha Quinn, Nina Blackwood and Mark Goodman came out to The Venetian Las Vegas on Saturday to do a book signing for their new book, "The Unplugged Adventures of MTV's First Wave." Excited fans patiently waited in line outside of the ROCK OF AGES Theatre and cheered as the VJs arrived. The VJs enjoyed connecting with all of their fans and posed for photos throughout the book signing. Many fans were overheard complimenting Martha Quinn, telling her that they had the biggest crush on her back in the 80's. One fan brought a bag of memorabilia including a vintage MTV t-shirt and varsity jacket that he asked all four VJs to autograph.  After the book signing, the VJs headed inside the ROCK OF AGES Theatre to surprise the audience by kicking off the show. They ended the evening by signing guitars for the Bourbon Room while reminiscing with one another on their times together at MTV.  ...

Sammy Hagar Emeril Lagasse The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas hosted Sammy Hagar’s Tiki Party with Emeril Lagasse on the grill. More than 1,200 fans were in attendance for the event held at The Venetian Pool as part of the resorts’ summer-long Carnevale celebration.  On the grill, Lagasse enticed guests with slow-roasted Hawaiian pork on sweet Hawaiian rolls, BBQ baby back ribs, and New Orleans creole boiled fresh corn on the cob, among other delicious eats. **** BACKSTREET BIRTHDAY **** Nick Carter Nick Carter celebrates another year older at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas. The Backstreet Boy was joined by his girlfriend Lauren Kitt, sister Angel and close friends who gambled and partied all weekend making a stop Saturday night at hotspot TAO at The Venetian where Nick celebrated his 33rd birthday.  The nightclub surprised him with a birthday cake and several shout outs from DJ D-Lux while playing a few Backstreet Boys hits. Later in the evening Nick stopped by the booth to thank his fans for their support while adoring female fans looked on.
