NEW YORK POPS ON BROADWAY @ CARNEGIE HALL

Andrew Rannells On March 21, 2014, The New York Pops continues its 31st season at Carnegie Hall with On Broadway, an evening celebrating some of Broadway’s most unforgettable hits from the past and present, featuring Tony Award nominees Stephanie J. Block and Andrew Rannells. Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley were previously slated to perform but are unable to appear due to scheduling conflicts. Steven Reineke says, "I'm excited to welcome Stephanie and Andrew back on stage at Carnegie Hall with The New York Pops. We're going to celebrate their wonderful talents in a program featuring some of Broadway's most beloved selections." The dynamic program will feature selections from West Side Story, Carousel, Ragtime, The Book of Mormon, Wicked, and more. THE NEW YORK POPS LAUNCHES 30TH SEASON

Steven Reineke On October 12, 2012, The New York Pops orchestra will launch its 30th Season at Carnegie Hall with Some Enchanted Evening: The Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein. Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke – described by The New York Times as a “polished, welcoming host” who is “young and vigorous, with a playful attitude” – will lead the orchestra in a highly-anticipated opening with Broadway favorites by beloved duo Rodgers and Hammerstein. The performance features guest artists Aaron Lazar, Kelli O’Hara and Paulo Szot, along with Judith Clurman’s Essential Voices USA and New York Theatre Ballet. The program includes classics from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, The King and I and The Sound of Music at Carnegie Hall’s Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.  Photo Courtesy Of: New York Pops
