Jean Shafiroff And Rose Hartman At Rizzoli Bookstore in New York City recently, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff hosted an evening of summer cocktails to benefit the Southampton Animal Shelter while celebrating Rose Hartman's photography book “Incomparable Women of Style.” Despite the teeming rain, more than 150 people came to show their support for the Southampton Animal Shelter. Jean, an honorary chair of the Shelter's upcoming benefit being held in Southampton, New York on July 20, 2013, spoke about how the Southampton Animal Shelter is ranked among the top 10% of shelters in the U.S. for its excellent care of animals. Many books were sold with a sizable percentage of the proceeds benefiting the Shelter and its great work for animals.
