  Michael Milken The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) 25th Annual Gala in the Hamptons took place at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY. Bancroft With Kelly Taxter And Clare Bell The Parrish Art Museum’s Midsummer Weekend—a benefit for the Museum comprising three distinct events that bring together artists, art collectors, curators, philanthropists, and business leaders from the Hamptons, New York City, and beyond—raised over $1 million to benefit the Parrish. The Midsummer Dance on August 13 featured a DJ Set by James Murphy (DFA Records/LCD Soundsystem); Dorothy Lichtenstein was the Honorary Chair of the Saturday Midsummer Dinner where artist Tomashi Jackson was honored; and the Midsummer Family benefit on Sunday, August 15, featured a performance by the National Circus Project and a collaborative mural workshop with artist Nathan Carter. The event, which was chaired by Larry Milstein, took place at the Lichtenstein Theater and featured a live performance by music artist Alice Longyu Gao. Lizzie, who is determined to unite a younger generation of philanthropists and reawaken the institution of charitable giving, also helped relaunch the Young Friends of Save Venice Initiative earlier this year. Jean Shafiroff At Parrish Art Museum Gala Jean Shafiroff was "Best Dressed" at the 2018 Parrish Art Museum Gala. Once again, beautiful philanthropist and style icon Jean Shafiroff made a striking entrance at the Parrish Art Museum Gala in Watermill, New York. This time Jean wore a hand painted black, yellow, and white " modern art" gown designed by Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim, the two new designers for Oscar de la Renta. The fashion house produced only two of the striking gowns - the one worn by Jean Shafiroff and then the sample. Jean Shafiroff , known for her spectacular ballgown collection , was recently placed on the Daily Fashion Report's 2018 International Best Dressed List for her ballgowns. Others on this list of 10 best dressed individuals included Anna Wintour and Meghan Markle. Mrs. Shafiroff stunned the crowd in a striking white vinyl laser cut and turquoise tulle gown designed by 27 year old talented fashion designer Caroline Z. The Parrish Art Museum's Midsummer Party (Water Mill, New York) raised in excess of $1.25 million. The event honored philanthropist Agnes Gund and artist, Clifford Ross whose work was on exhibit . This event is regarded by many as the highlight of summer social season, attracting thousands of notable guests and Jean Shafiroff was one of the fashion highlights of the night. Shafiroff is an avid style and fashion trend setter, and has been profiled in many publications. Other notable attendees included: Alessandro Nivola, Nicole Miller , Sandra Lee, Anne Huntington and Dorothy Lichtenstein. Shafiroff was dressed in a yellow Carolina Herrera dress constructed with embossed foam rubber.
