ANIMAL ZONE INTERNATIONAL HONORS JEAN SHAFIROFF
Jean Shafiroff With Cole Rumbough And Kick Kennedy Animal Zone International (AZI) President Paola Mieli and Benefit Chair Richard Ledes welcomed over 100 guests to the Third Annual Argos Fall Benefit at Thalassa Restaurant in Tribeca recently. The international non-profit, which is dedicated to the protection and humane care of animals and the environment on the Greek island of Amorgos, honored philanthropist Jean Shafiroff for her efforts on behalf of animals. Nicole DiCocco, Kick Kennedy, Alex Donner, Lacey Dorn, Cole Rumbough, Umberto Riva, Brian Maher, and Ann and Eric Jenson were among the supporters on hand. Guests watching a moving presentation that introduced the dogs, cats, goats and equines that AZI has helped on the island of Amorgos in Greece. Dozens of luxe items were donated to the silent auction, including artwork by Mark Kostabi and Robert Simon, which helped raise additional funds for the charity.
