He has done so much for New York and when I heard he wanted to run for Public Advocate to replace Tish James, I knew this was the perfect job for him. He helped make New York the center for gay rights. His Marriage Equality Act changed everything for LGBTQ and his anti bullying legislation that makes schools responsible for fighting harassment.
