DIE HARD CHILDBIRTH FOR BRUCE WILLIS

Image
Bruce Willis has compared making the 'Die Hard' movies to childbirth. The 52-year-old actor - who reprises his role as maverick cop John McClanef or 'Die Hard 4.0' - says, like women and childbirth, if he remembered the physical pain he went through to make each movie he would never agree to do another one. Bruce told BANG Showbiz: "There is a thing they say about women and childbirth - they say if women remembered the pain of childbirth there would be no more children born, everybody would only have one kid. But, as time goes by you forget the pain, and I forgot that I was hurt, cranky and irritable."The star - who dressed in a black suit for the other nights glitzy London premiere - also revealed he had to step up his fitness regime to survive shooting. He said: "I started working out three times a week and I thought that would be enough. But then I started jumping on refrigerators, diving on the floor and knocking my head on steel, and I realised I had...

BRUCE WILLIS DIE HARD DOUBLE HURT

Image
BRUCE WILLIS has dubbed his stunt double the ‘$6 Million Man’ after the tough guy survived a death-defying street fall during the making of the new DIE HARD film. Larry Rippenkroeger, who has been the movie star’s double for films like The Whole Ten Yards, Hostage and Sin City, lost his footing on a ladder during one stunt sequence on the set of Live Free & Die Hard and fell three stories to the street below. The 50-year-old stuntman, who is a four-time jet-ski champion, has no memory of the accident, which left him with multiple injuries. He tells the Los Angeles Times newspaper, "I fell from three stories high, head first right to the street."I had compound fractures of both wrists, smashed the right side of my face, fractured my skull on the back of my head, couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung."I have lots of titanium in my face and within my wrists and plates and hardware. Bruce referred to me as the ‘$6 million man.’"

Bruce Willis not happy with Die Hard edit Bruce Willis is furious his "yippe-ki-yay, mother f**ker" catch phrase has been cut from his new 'Die Hard' movie. The 52-year-old actor - who reprises his role as maverick cop John McClane in the fourth instalment of the action franchise - is unhappy with the studio's decision to give 'Live Free or Die Hard' a PG-13 rating because it restricted his swearing. He said: "It does make it a little more difficult. They don't want to see a lot of blood squirting out of bad guys. You can still do a lot of horrific things - you just can't say the word 'f**k' more than twice."Saying f**k every other sentence is part of the vernacular of 'Die Hard'."Despite the language restrictions, Willis claims the film - in which he tackles an internet-based terrorist organisation - is just as good as the original 1988 movie. He told Vanity Fair magazine: "But we still have a pretty hard-core sm...

BRUCE WILLIS: JOHN F. KENNEDY'S KILLERS ARE STILL AT LARGE TODAY

Image
Die Hard Bruce Willis Hollywood actor BRUCE WILLIS has warned former US President JOHN F KENNEDY’s killers are still at large, insisting LEE HARVEY OSWALD did not act alone.Oswald was, according to four US government investigations, solely responsible for the 1963 assassination of Kennedy in Dallas. Oswald was shot dead two days after the murder on his way to Dallas County Jail. However, Willis insists it’s likely that Oswald was made a scapegoat for the assassination, telling Vanity Fair, "They still haven’t caught the guy that killed Kennedy. I’ll get killed for saying this, but I’m pretty sure those guys are still in power, in some form. The entire government of the United States was co-opted."I don’t think my opinion means jack s**t, because I’m an actor. Why do actors think their opinions mean more because you act?"
