DOWNTOWN LEGEND TAKES CENTER STAGE AS ARTIST CHUCK CONNELLY IS CELEBRATED AT ONE ART SPACE

  Adrienne Connelly With Animals In The Street (1994) One Art Space in Tribeca presented “Chuck Connelly: Tribeca’s Midnight Parade — When Art Runs Wild” Co-Curated by Adrienne Connelly and MaryAnn Giella McCulloh. This special exhibition honors the late artist Chuck Connelly through a body of work that reflects the energy, individuality and creative spirit of downtown New York.  The exhibition opened with a private VIP reception and a public exhibition which is now on view from through Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, daily from 12:00pm to 6:00pm, at One Art Space, 23 Warren Street, Tribeca. At the heart of the exhibition is “Animals in the Street,” a 1994 painting created during a period when Chuck Connelly was living and working from his loft studio on Franklin Street in Tribeca.   Joy Ride By Chuck Connelly Salomon Arts Gallery will present “The Journey” by Chuck Connelly (1955–2025), A Neo Expressionist Retrospective, curated by Adrienne Connelly, from Thursday, March 19th through Thursday, April 16th, 2026, at 83 Leonard Street in New York City. The exhibition will be on view Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, or by appointment, offering New York audiences an opportunity to revisit the life, work and lasting impact of one of the most distinctive painters associated with the Neo Expressionist movement.   Bringing together paintings, drawings and documentary footage, “The Journey” looks at Connelly’s career through the lens of both artistic ambition and personal reckoning.
