GABRIELLE'S ANGEL FOUNDATION BRINGS OUT YOUNG PHILANTHROPY AND FASHION

  Denise Rich Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research brought New York’s young philanthropy, fashion and social communities together Monday, April 27th, for the 2026 Young Angels Gala at Crane Club in Manhattan. The annual event, hosted by Bianca Peters, Emmy-winning news anchor for Fox 5 NY, honored Elaine Chamberlain, founder and CEO of LÁYN and the Stay in Your LÁYN Foundation. Held at Crane Club, the evening carried a whimsical black tie dress code and featured music by David Katz, Neil Jackson, Tokyo Rose, and Jordan Emanuel.   Presented by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation’s Young Professionals Committee, the gala continued the organization’s tradition of engaging the next generation of supporters in its mission to advance cancer research. More than 80 participants enjoyed a spectacular day on the green to raise more than $200,000 for groundbreaking cancer research programs aimed at eradicating cancer and developing innovative and more effective treatments with less harmful side effects. And thanks to a partnership with The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research, all funds raised at the tournament will be matched, dollar for dollar. INNOVATIVE EVENT LED BY TEENAGE ADVOCATES TO FUND PEDIATRIC CANCER RESEARCH

  Waxman Cancer Research Foundation The 3rd annual Kids Cancel Cancer, benefiting the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF), will take place on Saturday October 26th, 2024 at Frames Bowling Lounge in New York City. In addition to raising crucial funds for pediatric cancer research, the event will be an entertaining evening of bowling, ping pong, billiards, karaoke, games, auctions, great food and more.  “Unlike, other fundraising events put on by SWCRF, this one was created and is being organized by kids,” said Marion Waxman, who is spearheading the event. “Last year’s event raised more than $100,000 allowing SWCRF to support the work of two leading pediatric cancer investigators – one based at St. Jude’s Research Hospital and the other at Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Israel.
