MERV GRIFFIN'S SON TRUST FUND LAWSUIT
The son of late game show king Merv Griffin, is taking the bosses of his father’s media companies to court over allegations of bad business management. Tony Griffin has filed legal papers in Los Angeles California County Superior Court accusing executives at Merv Griffin Entertainment and The Griffin Group of squandering his dad’s multi-million dollar fortune, reports TMZ.com.
Griffin is demanding the removal of those responsible for investing in what he believes are "speculative ventures with funds which belong to the Trust". Merv Griffin created many hit game shows, including Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! He died from cancer in 2007.
