SOUTHAMPTON'S FALL FIESTA @ UNION CANTINA

Short Rib With Mole Sauce

A Hamptons-style Fall fiesta is celebrated every day of the week at Union Cantina’s 40 Bowden Square location in Southampton, NY which will feature live music, entertaining daily happenings and sumptuous specials to boost the already unique dining experience.

Celebrating the start of the 2018 Fall Season, The Jam Session will play the unique sounds of Afro-Cuban Jazz every Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A feast of contemporary Mexican cuisine awaits frequent guests and visitors year-round as owners Ian Duke and David Hilty, also of Southampton Social Club, invite you to enjoy the newly renovated dining room at the rustic, Mexican-inspired restaurant.

Fall Fiesta

Behold the beauty of the real East End from the award-winning modern Mexican eatery, Union Cantina, which won top distinctions as the 2017 Best of the Best from leading Hamptons publication Dan’s Papers for; “Best Mexican Restaurant”, “Best Happy Hour Bar” and, with the help of, the “Best Chef” Scott Kampf. Continuing its reputation as one of the best dining staples in the South Fork, Union Cantina has been nominated again for Dan’s Papers 2018 Best of the Best for “Best Tacos”, “Best Margaritas”, “Best BBQ” and “Best Wings”.

Award-winning Executive Chef Scott Kampf, previously featured on Food Network’s Iron Chefs of America, leads the kitchen all year-round, crafting contemporary dishes incorporating the authentic flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine. When dining with a party of two or more, why not enjoy a shareable bowl of spicy or mild Guacomole en Molcajate made fresh to order, or classic Quesadillas in the marinated steak, spicy grilled chicken and charred grilled shrimp varieties?

For those craving Mexican fare with a twist, enjoy a hearty entrée including the Spicy Guava Barbecue Baby Back Ribs served with sweet potato fries and Mexican sweet corn or Beef Short Rib served with sweet local corn bread pudding, charred heirloom carrots and a mole sauce. Union Cantina’s signature dish, Deconstructed Enchiladas, satisfies a variety of palates in styles including: Skirt Steak, Spicy Shrimp, Adobo Chicken and Seasonal Vegetable. Indulge in a selection of decadent Fall desserts which include the creamy Banana Caramel Quesadilla, Churros in a savory Nutella dipping cream, and melt-in-your-mouth Tres Leches Cake.

Union Cantina’s mixologists shake things up all week-long for an award-winning Happy Hour from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with half-priced tacos served alongside your choice of $9.00 cocktails, $7.00 wines and $5.00 draft beers. On Margarita Mondays, enjoy Half-Priced “Margs” All Day which includes the Fall favorite Apple Cider Margarita with ultra-premium 100% agave Herradura tequila, farm-pressed apple cider and fresh lime. Play fun trivia games while enjoying tequila specials and half-priced tacos to complement.

There are new experiences taking place daily at Union Cantina which boasts an extensive cocktail program and tequila menu consisting of sangrias, punches, frozen drinks and fun cocktails. Wine Down Wednesdays features half-off bottles of wine and pitchers of sangria while kids 12 and under dine for free with a purchase of an entrée. For private gatherings, the 400 Rabbits Tequila Bar also delivers an exceptional cocktail program and over 100 different tequilas to sample.

Following Union Cantina’s first Live Afro-Cuban Jazz performance by The Jam Session on Thursday, October 4th, 2018, every Thursday this Fall is a new chance to enjoy the fiesta! The party continues into Friday with one of the Best Happy Hour Drink Specials and more from live entertainment and special guests.

For those who did not make it out to the East End this summer, the Hamptons Weekend is back starting on Saturday with brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with half-priced cocktails and live music starting from 9:00 p.m. On NFL Sunday, Union Cantina plays host to traditional game day fun. Enjoy beer and cocktail specials while watching the game all day.

Union Cantina’s atmosphere incorporates the sleekness of the Hampton’s high society with the rustic beauty of Mexican culture. The dark woods are balanced by the bright cerulean-colored walls and are also decorated with traditional Mexican artwork and prints. Union Cantina is the hotspot all year-round for festive dining, live music and A-list celebrations!
