TOWN STAGES ANNOUNCES NEW BAR OPENING

Town Stages announces the opening of their bar, now with summer hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 5pm-10pm at Town Stages, 221 West Broadway, NYC. For more information, visit www.townstages.com.



The summer cocktail menu includes Joanna's Aunt Pearl's Gin Rickey, Big Barrel Old Fashioned, Smoky Paloma, and a Lavender Collins ($1 from each sale of Lavender Collins goes to Girls for Gender Equity, in partnership with Zirkova Vodka).



Joanna Carpenter (Bar Director) hails most recently from the world of craft spirits brand management. She is an industry leader in beverage/ brand relationship cultivation, and designing niche bar concepts. A seasoned hospitality veteran, Joanna has helped create cocktails for some of New York City's most recognizable spaces and is a proud, active advocate for creating equal visibility and support for women and persons of color in hospitality. Joanna is a singer, actor, and director.



Town Stages (Robin Sokoloff, Executive Director) is located in the heart of Tribeca. TOWN is New York's premier venue to celebrate, collaborate and put on a show. A new female-driven cultural arts institution, Town Stages is a state-of-the-art, flexible performance and event space that can support the entire lifecycle of New York's hallmark industries. A new female-driven cultural arts institution and venue space, Town Stages is a state-of-the-art, flexible performance and event space that can support the entire lifecycle of New York's hallmark industries. Coco Rocha, April Hunt, and more came to TriBeCa last night to experience the first exhibit of 12 by Bisco Smith presented by Soundwall The Connected Canvas.



Rocha arrived hand in hand with her husband James Conran, looking beautiful in a black cut out fitted cocktail dress, showing off her svelte post-baby bod. Rocha and Conran mingled with artist Bisco Smith, DJ April Hunt, and Soundwall CEO Aaron Cohen, and instagrammed a photo of herself with her favorite piece alongside the caption:

DONNIE KEHR SINGS WITH THE BROADWAY DREAMS

Broadway’s Donnie Kehr, who’s in the big-screen version of Jersey Boys (due out in June directed by Clint Eastwood) performed a song today with The Broadway Dreams theatre students today at The Tribeca Film Family Festival.


The PATH Fund and Kehr’s Rockers On Broadway donates to the Broadway Dreams Foundation, who specialize in Arts Education.


Says Kehr, “It was a great performance for a great cause and these kids are super talented.”

THE STARS AT 'A SINGLE SHOT' IN TRIBECA NYC

Sam Rockwell, Jeffrey Wright, director David M. Rosenthal, writer Matthew F. Jones, producer Keith Kjarval, The Cast of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Kelly Rutherford, Kelly Bensimon, and Charlotte Ronson were just some of the celebs at the Tribeca Film & The Cinema Society screening and after-party of A SINGLE SHOT where Purity Cocktails were served.



The screening was at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in NYC and the after-party was at Bar Nana.



After the success of the screening The after-party kicked off with the entire cast of Queer Eye. The cast poses together at front bar for for photographers. Immediately after, each gentleman snatched up one of Purity’s signature vodka cocktails. Carson Kressley was spotted parading around venue with good friend and cast mate Thom Filica, both of whom loosely hung onto their overflowing Purity Vodka Gimlet drinks.
