The Flatiron District has a new hot restaurant and lounge experience, TAJ II. Owners Dave Casey, Ruth Tranter, Philip Quilter and Delores Hoskins have taken their extensive nightlife and hospitality experience to create this unique entertainment and dining venue. With opulent imported décor, such as carved teak woodwork, sandstone Buddha sculptures, and a magnificent mahogany and copper-topped bar, TAJ II transports its guests to the ultimate mix of luxury dining and vibrant nightlife inspired by India.The opening event attracted New York’s VIPs and trendsetters including fashion icon Phillip Bloch. Guests enjoyed tastings from the Indian fusion menu as well as a list of specialty cocktails mixed to please at the launch event. The DJ mixed lounge tracks setting the ambiance for an enchanting evening. As the night progressed, guests settled into the luxurious banquettes while others danced the night away.

The venue boasts a separate VIP mezzanine complete with its own separate bar.The event space at Taj II features catering capabilities for a cocktail reception up to 300 people, or sit down dining for up to 120. The full sound system and AV technology allows Taj II to adjust their offerings to accommodate any occasion.The Taj II opens to the public April 15th.
