While the current NY Rangers players were kicking things off at the first day of Training Camp this morning, Ranger Great Rod Gilbert took to the ice at Madison Square with a paintbrush in hand to help paint the official lines and logos for the 2010-11 season onto the Garden Floor. Rod was joined by a group of children from the Garden of Dreams Foundation, who took it upon themselves to leave a message on the ice for the team, spelling out the words: “we want the cup” underneath the Blue Line. It was pretty cute. Individual tickets for the Rangers’ 2010-11 season go on-sale next Thursday, September 23rd.

RON GRESCHNER TO HOST AUTISM GALA

Rod Gilbert Will Attend

For all you Hockey fans, Former New York Ranger's great Ron Greschner is hosting a dinner this Wednesday night at 6PM at the Aegean Cove Greek restaurant at 20-01 Steinway Street in Astoria, Queens. All proceeds will go to the Ron Greschner Foundation to support Autism Awareness. Joining Greschner will be former Rangers greats such as Rod Gilbert, Nick Fotiu, Ron Duguay, Vic Hadfield as well as some current Rangers including Scott Gomez.
