The event, hosted by Stephen Fry, gathered together some of the most eminent filmmakers, directors, screen writers and actors in the industry today. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts, an independent organization and charity, held their 67th annual UK film awards ceremony on at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, where HRH Prince William was in attendance, both in his role as President of the organisation, and also to present a BAFTA Fellowship Award to Helen Mirren.
