Sexy Pete Wentz has launched his another new bar in his hometown of Chicago, Ill. The Fall Out Boy bassist and his new wife Ashlee Simpson Wentz, celebrated the opening of Angels And Kings with his parents on Tuesday evening. The launch party served as a second birthday bash for Wentz, who turned 29 on June 5. During the event, Wentz was treated to a special slide-show of photos from his youth, compiled by his very pregnant wife. Upon hearing of the montage, Wentz said to the singer,"I thought you said you wouldn't do anything embarrassing!" She replied, "I know, I'm sorry Peter," before starting the presentation. The show ended with a video clip of Simpson-Wentz saying, "I love you, Peter," as she blew a kiss into the camera. Wentz was then presented with a large bulldog-shaped birthday cake, in honor of their beloved pet Hemingway.

Pop Singer Ashlee Simpson and her fiance, sexy rock star Pete Wentz married last night according to reports. Simpson's father hosted the wedding at his Encino, California home, performing a nondenominational ceremony in front of about 150 guests, according to a representative of the couple. Simpson and Wentz announced their engagement last month and have been romantically linked since 2006. The marriage is the first for both. Several media organizations have also reported that Simpson is pregnant, but Wentz has denied this. Simpson, 23, released her third music album, "Bittersweet World," in April. She is the younger sister of singer and actress Jessica Simpson, who acted as maid of honour at the wedding. Wentz, 28, co-founded Fall Out Boy in 2001. The band has since built a loyal following with albums like its popular 2005 release, "From Under the Cork Tree."

Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are rushing down the aisle and will wed next week in California, according to reports.The happy couple has sent out invites to friends and family, urging them all to be ready for a big day on May 16th. Gossip website Hollyscoop.com reveals Wentz and Simpson are refusing to give too much away, keeping the site of the wedding a secret. A source tells the website, "The location will not be revealed until the day of the wedding but guests are told it will be an hour drive from Los Angeles." If the nuptials do go ahead as reported, this will be the second of three big star spring 2008 weddings - Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon exchanged vows in The Bahamas last week and Charlie Sheen will wed Brooke Mueller on May 30th.

PETE WENTZ FIGHTING FALL OUT BOY SUIT

Pete Wentz is hitting back at a lawsuit claiming he assaulted a fan after a gig and is insisting his accuser is just trying to make "a quick payoff". Andy Kallas, from Chicago, Illinois, has launched legal action against the Fall Out Boy star, alleging he suffered "serious injuries to his head, mouth and face" during an unprovoked attack outside the nightclub.He is suing Wentz and Schuba’s Tavern, where the beating allegedly took place after a recent show. But Wentz insists the claims are not true, accusing Kallas of attempting to make money out of him. He tells MTV.com, "This lawsuit is entirely without merit and will be vigorously defended."This is another in a long line of frivolous lawsuits that are filed against celebrities each year from individuals seeking a quick payoff when there is absolutely no justification for the claim." Kallas is reported to have jeered at the band during the gig, but Wentz is adamant he would never lose his temper over something so trivial. He adds, "We get heckled onstage all the time, and while I’m a jerk, I’m not the kind of person who would ever lash out at someone simply over this."

Singing star Pete Wentz is crediting Ashlee Simpson and his regular therapy sessions with helping him overcome depression. The Fall Out Boy admitted that he was once so depressed he tried to kill himself. But Pete is convinced that although he still battles with mental health issues, his relationship with Simpson has made him more emotionally balanced. He says, "The hardest thing about depression is that it is addictive. It begins to feel uncomfortable not to be depressed. You feel guilty for feeling happy."I think I’ve come to terms with that over the last six months. Press Representatives for the performer, the younger sister of actress and singer Jessica Simpson, had no comment on the report and no other details were available.
On Thursday the couple posted a statement at the social networking Web site friendsorenemies.com in which they announced that they would be getting married.
