NEW VIDEOS ON NICK BOLLEA CAR VICTIM

Nick Bollea's Car Crash

New sad home videos of WWE superstar Hulk Hogan's jailed son Nick Bollea's car crash victim have been made public in effort to show the teen the seriousness of his friend’s condition. Bollea, 17, is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence at Florida’s Pinellas County Jail, after pleading no contest to a felony of reckless driving following a horrific car crash in Clearwater, Florida, which left his best friend John Graziano brain damaged for life. On the released tapes, aired by CNN’s Nancy Grace yesterday, 23-year-old Graziano is shown from his hospital bed, his injuries pixilated due to their severity. Grace comments as the video rolls, revealing Graziano’s day-to-day life: "I’ve been on a lot of crash wards and rehab centres to meet with victims and even now this is how wrenching it is to see what he is going through." Graziano’s parents spoke out last May, furious at Bollea’s lack of remorse, after hearing him discuss plans to win an early release from jail in taped telephone conversations that were leaked online. The family also blasted the Bolleas for trying to cash in on their grief, by turning Nick’s prison stint into a money making television reality show.

HULK HOGAN'S SON WANTS OUT OF SOLITARY

Attorneys for Hulk Hogan's jailed son Nick Bollea have filed a court request to have him moved out of solitary confinement, because the punishment is too "cruel" for a teenager to have.Bollea, 17, is currently serving an eight-month prison sentence at Florida’s Pinellas County Jail after pleading no contest to felony reckless driving following a near fatal car crash in Clearwater, Florida, which has left his best friend John Graziano brain damaged. Bollea spends between 16 and 17 hours a day in the maximum security cell, but his attorneys want to have him moved to a minimum security area and are even suggesting monitored home confinement as an option, reports People.com. Legal papers filed in a Florida court yesterday, read: "Understandably, this situation creates an unbearable anxiety for a minor in solitary confinement. "(It) substantially amounts to cruel and unusual punishment for a juvenile and is not warranted for a non-violent first offender serving a probation sentence." Bollea’s lawyers also claim he was only placed in solitary confinement because the jail is not equipped to hold minors.

LAWSUITS FILED AGAINST HULK HOGAN

Hulk Hogan

Wrestling champion Hulk Hogan and his family are facing lawsuits from the family of John Graziano, who was left seriously injured after a 2007 car crash.Graziano’s parents are suing Hogan and his estranged wife for failing to prevent the car crash. The wrestler’s son, Nick Bollea, was driving his father’s car at the time of the accident. Bollea, 17, had his driving licence suspended for a year in last November after Florida officials deemed him a dangerous driver, following an accident in August that left his friend Graziano needing nursing care for the rest of his life.Bollea has also been charged with reckless driving involving serious bodily injury and will be tried as an adult when his case reaches court in April. But his legal troubles don’t end there - now the Graziano family has filed suit against Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, his estranged wife Linda and Nick, charging them with negligence. According to court papers, filed today in Pinellas County, Florida, the Grazianos accuse the Bollea family of being directly liable for the accident.

HULK HOGANS SON ARRESTED AND CHARGED

Nick Bollea

Hulk Hogan's son Nick has been arrested and charged with reckless driving following his August car crash.Nick Bollea, 17 - the son of Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea - turned himself into police yesterday on a charge of reckless driving involving serious bodily injury and is expected to be tried as an adult.A statement from Florida's Clearwater police said: "Based on the evidence and witness testimony, investigators have concluded that Bollea was operating his vehicle recklessly at the time of the crash and caused serious bodily injury to his passenger John Graziano."Nick was allegedly racing his Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper Coupe - doing 60 mph in a 40 mph zone - when he lost control and smashed into a palm tree on August 26.Graziano was critically injured in the crash and remains hospitalised.Nick Bollea's attorneys, Morris 'Sandy' Weinberg Jr. and Kevin Hayslett, have released the following statement: "Nick and the entire 'Hogan' Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed. Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena - a court of law. The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's long-time friend John Graziano. The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can."The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt."Because Nick is still a juvenile and has no prior criminal record, we are disappointed that he is being charged as an adult offender. However, we are confident that the evidence will demonstrate that this was an accident. We ask all who follow these events to keep an open mind as to the facts until they have been ultimately determined."Nick, who Clearwater police claim was drinking on the night of the crash, also faces charges of using a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony, a person under the age of 21 operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher and having and illegal window tint.Daniel Jacobs, the driver Nick was reportedly racing against, has been issued with a summons to appear in court for reckless driving. Police concluded he was not the direct cause of the accident.

WITNESS CLAIMS HULK HOGAN'S SON NICK BOLLEA WAS SPEEDING HIS TOYOTA

Hulk Hogan's son was racing another car when he crashed into a tree, critically injuring his passenger, a witness has allegedly claimed. Nick Bollea, 17 - the son of Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea - was allegedly racing his Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper Coupe when he lost control and smashed into a palm tree on Sunday, according to eyewitness Frances Vitalis.Vitalis, who is a nurse, claims she was riding a motorcycle behind the two cars and saw them revving their engines and racing between traffic lights. She is quoted by USA Today newspaper as saying: "I knew something was going to happen. You know this is a bad situation and these guys are hot dogging."Hulk Hogan is said to own a Dodge Viper which matches the description of the car allegedly seen racing his son's Supra, but there is no suggestion the former professional wrestler played any part in the incident.Bollea has been fined for speeding on four separate occasions in the last year, most recently just two weeks ago when he was caught driving at 82 mph in a 45 mph zone in Florida.Police spokesman Wayne Shelor declined to comment on the reports because of the ongoing investigation. He said detectives have talked to "a number of eye witnesses".Bollea's passenger John Graziano, 22, remains in critical condition in Bayfront Medical Center.Hulk and his family recently starred in reality TV show 'Hogan Knows Best'.
