Margaret Cho
Critically-acclaimed comedienne, Margaret Cho, will visit Tropicana Casino & Resort on Feb. 2, 2013 at 9 p.m. to showcase her brand new stand-up show, “MOTHER,” at Tropicana Showroom. Cho’s latest project offers up an untraditional look at motherhood, including how we look at maternal figures and strong women in queer culture.
Tickets are $30, $45 and $60, and are available now on Ticketmaster and through Tropicana Atlantic City. The show is presented by Comix Entertainment and is intended for mature audiences only. All patrons seated in the first ten rows be at least 18 years old. All patrons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The two-time Grammy Award nominee recently proved her remarkable versatility when she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award for “Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series” for her hilarious stint on the award-winning sitcom, “30 Rock,” where she acted as gender-bending North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il. As a long-time veteran of the comedy scene, Cho has established herself as one of the most daring stand-up queens in the industry. She currently stars in the popular Lifetime series, “Drop Dead Diva,” and has embarked on multiple sold-out national comedy tours.
