Jose Canseco Pop singer Madonna allegedly begged baseball star Jose Canseco to marry her and get her pregnant during a fling 17 years ago, according to the retired sports star. Just days after Madonna was forced to deny an affair with current New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, former team player Canseco claims Madonna attempted to seduce him back in 1991 - when he was still married. He alleges the pair enjoyed a three-to-four month affair, but were never intimate. Canseco tells Us Weekly magazine, "She had a Cuban child (Lourdes) and wanted another one. She wanted to get married and have a child with me." He claims Madonna pounced on him at her Hollywood Hills home, telling the magazine, "She said, `What would you do if I kissed you?’ and then sat on my lap and kissed me." Canseco claims Madonna even offered to support him if he left his wife, adding, "She said, `I have lots of money. Don’t worry about that.’" Madonna has been dragged into Rodriguez’s divorce battle with his wife Cynthia over claims she introduced the baseball star to her chosen religion, Kabbalah, and became his "soulmate". Cynthia Rodriguez’s lawyer alleges Madonna and the Yankees star had "an affair of the heart".
