ELVIS DURAN & THE MORNING SHOW WITH GLAAD

****
PLANET ELVIS
****

The Elvis Duran Show

Elvis Duran and the Morning Show has partnered up with GLAAD over the last two weeks, to promote Spirit Day. The morning show participated in the anti-bullying campaign to take a stand against bullying in support of LGBT youth by selling purple t-shirts to raise money for GLAAD. The custom designed t-shirts completely sold out online! The entire morning show crew sported them this morning, while Elvis encouraged listeners to wear purple today as well.

"All of our show members are united and thrilled to wear purple and support Spirit Day. The dialogue about anti-bullying and acceptance is an important piece of our overall agenda. Thank you, GLAAD, for providing focus on this serious human rights issue.” - Elvis Duran

The show received an overwhelming amount of calls, texts, and emails from listeners expressing their support for GLAAD and Spirit Day. The members of the team filmed individual inspiring messages in support of the campaign which can be found on ElvisDuran.com and GLAAD's website. Elvis Duran and the Morning Show and GLAAD have a fantastic relationship, and are already looking forward to upcoming projects.

Join MILLIONS of other Americans and take a stand against bullying LGBT youth this Friday by wearing purple!

For many years, much of the LGBT community has notably been quite progressive in their equality issues to millions across the globe. While newer versions of support have spurred more recently, not many have been catered to the younger age demographic and none have garnered as much attention as the two-year young, Spirit Day.

GLAAD has designated October 19 as a day when everyone can show their support to this issue which has affected so many lives. Spirit Day Supporters include Mario Lopez, Maria Menounos, Carmen Electra, Kristin Cavallari, and Wendy Williams among a multitude of other great celebrities.
