GERALDO RIVERA & EDYTA SLIWINSKA RE-UNITED

Geraldo Rivera And Edyta Sliwinska

This season’s finale of Dancing with the Stars is bound to be the biggest yet – spanning two days, two stages and two audiences!

Eight weeks have passed since 12 teams braved the dance floor for the very first time. Each week these celebrities left their comfort zones and endured hours of grueling rehearsals to master technical choreography and entertaining performances. In the end, only one couple will rise above the rest to be crowned champions and win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

Geraldo Rivera, previously a finalist on reality business show The Apprentice: Celebrity Edition,  rejoined the Season 22 cast for one last performance together with his dancing partner Edyta Sliwinska.

Geraldo is currently host of Geraldo Rivera Reports on Fox News Channel (FNC). He joined the network in 2001 after a career spanning CNBC, ABC’s 20/20 and being one of the original cast of Good Morning America. Geraldo reported 22 times from war-torn Iraq and Afghanistan and is proud to have broken the news on live television of the death of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden in May 2011. Rivera is the recipient of some 170 journalism awards.

Geraldo’s dancing partner in the show was dance professional Edyta Sliwinska who returned to the show after a break from her record breaking 10 season participation in Dancing With The Stars, where she previously partnered with Evander Holyfield, George Hamilton, Ashley Hamilton, Aiden Turner, Joey Lawrence, John Ratzenberger, Cameron Mathison, Jason Taylor, Jeffrey Ross and Lawrence Taylor.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winning host Tom Bergeron (America’s Funniest Home Videos) and Erin Andrews (sports host and Dancing with the Stars Season 10 finalist), Dancing with the Stars is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts including head judge, Len Goodman, dancers/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba. The competing couples of celebrity and dance professionals are Paige VanZant & Mark Ballas, Nyle DiMarco & Peta Murgatroyd, Jodie Sweetin & Keo Motsepe, Ginger Zee & Val Chmerkovskiy, Antonio Brown & Sharna Burgess, Marla Maples & Tony Dovolani, Mischa Barton & Artem Chigvintsev, Von Miller & Witney Carson, Kim Fields & Sasha Farber, Doug Flutie & Karina Smirnoff and Wanya Morris & Lindsay Arnold.

About Geraldo Rivera

Geraldo Rivera is currently host of Geraldo Rivera Reports on Fox News Channel (FNC). He joined the network in 2001 as a war correspondent. Rivera began his career as a reporter for WABC-TV in New York where he presented a series exposing the deplorable conditions at the Willowbrook State School for the mentally ill. These award-winning reports led to a government investigation and the institution was eventually shut down.

Before becoming a member of the original cast of ABC's Good Morning America, Rivera presented the first television broadcast of the infamous Abraham Zapruder film of the assassination of President John Kennedy as host of ABC's Good Night America. He then began an eight-year association with ABC's 20/20 as an investigative reporter. One of his hour-long reports, The Elvis Cover-Up was for more than two decades 20/20's highest rated shows. In 1987, Geraldo began producing and hosting his ground breaking talk show The Geraldo Rivera Show for 11 years. In 1998, he hosted a series of highly rated investigative specials on NBC.

The winner of the 2000 Robert F. Kennedy journalism award (his third) for his NBC News documentary on Women In Prison, and the Scripps Howard Foundation national journalism award for Back to Bedlam, Rivera has received more than 170 awards for journalism, including the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, three national and seven local Emmys, two Columbia-Dupont and two additional Scripps Howard Journalism Awards.

Rivera is a veteran foreign correspondent who has been on the frontlines in virtually every international conflict since 1973. He has expertise in the Afghanistan region, covering the international drug wars of tribal territories in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. His vast war experience has spanned the violent coup in Chile and the Yom Kippur War to the civil wars in Guatemala, the Philippines and Nicaragua as well as the ethnic conflicts in Lebanon (1980-83) and Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo (1998-1999). In 2000, he went to Colombia to cover the country's civil war.

Prior to joining Fox News, Rivera served as host of CNBC's number-one rated prime time show, Rivera Live, where his critically-acclaimed coverage of the O.J. Simpson civil trial verdict set an all-time CNBC ratings record.

GERALDO RIVERA PRESENTS BEAUTY & THE BEAST

Geraldo Rivera

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present a one-hour special tonight entitled “Fox News Reporting: Beauty & the Beast – When Kate met Chapo,” hosted by Geraldo Rivera on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at 8:00PM/ET and Sunday, May 8th, 2016 at 9:00PM/ET. In this program, Rivera sits down with Mexican actress Kate del Castillo to discuss her relationship with Joaquin Guzman, better known as the head of the Sinaloa Drug Cartel, “El Chapo.” She goes in-depth on how the two became pen-pals in addition to the secret meeting they later had with Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn.

Also during this special, Rivera reports on Chapo’s pending extradition to the United States, his fascination with Donald Trump, the role the Mexican government has played, as well as the potential impact his incarceration will have on the drug scourge in the U.S. Additionally, Rivera talks with former assistant special agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Special Operations Division for the Americas, Carl Pike.

The Beast: In our graphic real-life story the beast is billionaire drug kingpin Joaquin Guzman, the head of the ruthless Sinaloa Drug Cartel, better known as “El Chapo” (‘Shorty’). Labeled: The bin Laden of Drug Dealers by the DEA, El Chapo was at large after escaping for a 2nd time from Altiplano Mexico’s most secure prison.

The Beauty: The beauty is Kate del Castillo, the sultry Mexican actress whose character Teresa Mendoza in the wildly popular Mexican prime time soap opera La Reina del Sur (‘Queen of the South’) became El Chapo’s destructive obsession. The fictional Teresa was a ruthless though charismatic drug dealer, and Chapo identified with her and he was crazy about Kate.

This in-depth special report chronicles how El Chapo and Kate became pen-pals, exchanging highly suggestive text messages both while he was in prison and later when he was on the lam.

The Jungle Rendezvous: So desperate was the world’s most wanted fugitive to see the object of his fascination that he risked everything to meet her face-to-face in a jungle rendezvous. Kate brought Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn with her for the high-stakes meeting.

Mexican and American authorities agree that El Chapo’s recapture was the direct result of the Beast’s need to see his Beauty.

The Special Report: With exclusive interviews with Ms. Del Castillo, Mexican authorities, DEA operatives and reporting from Beverly Hills to the Altiplano Prison in Mexico from which Chapo escaped, this Fox News special report chronicles the obsession; the rendezvous; the role Sean Penn played both during and after the steamy jungle meeting; the role of the Mexican government; the pending extradition of Guzman to the United States; his fascination with Donald Trump; and the impact, if any, Chapo’s incarceration will have on the terrible drug scourge his Sinaloa drug cartel has unleashed on the United States.

Geraldo Rivera hosted a book party to celebrate the launch of National Enquirer gossip columnist and #1 New York Times bestselling author Mike Walker’s latest novel, Out For Blood: Private Diary of a Gossip Vampire at Ivy Bar and Grill on Monday, November 4, 2013. In Out For Blood, the latest book from veteran National Enquirer “Guru of Gossip” Mike Walker, the term “deadline” takes new meaning. Out For Blood’s atypical hero, Clark, has a to-die-for secret: he’s the undead! Flying the night skies to spy on Tinseltown’s sexiest stars and consistently scooping his industry cohorts, with a killer career as gossip-in-residence at the National Revealer, Clark has long stood to be one of Hollywood’s most feared men…which is to say nothing of his razor-sharp bite. But when a sex tape scandal with smokin’ hot starlet/tabloid terror TayLo Logan leads him into a nefarious murder plot that threatens everything he holds dear – including his beloved Revealer post – it’s high time for the real fangs to come out.

An uproariously funny, satirical and surprisingly thought-provoking romp through the sex, lies, and videotape that make the Hollywood gossip machine go ‘round, Out For Blood is a novel that only the likes of Walker could write.

At the book launch party, Mike Walker, Geraldo Rivera and his wife Erica Levy were joined by many close friends and the media elite for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at Ivy Bar and Grill, including New York Post columnist Richard Johnson, New York Observer writer Ben Widdicombe, Executive Producer of The Geraldo Rivera Radio Network Marty Berman, New York Daily News Confidenti@l gossip columnist Lachlan Cartwright, Vanity Fair contributing editor John Connolly, entertainment reporter Bill McCuddy, Inside Edition special correspondent Rita Cosby, Susie Coelho (ex-wife of Sonny Bono), creator of Eyewitness News Albert T. Primo, philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and Resident Magazine editor-in-chief Christopher Pape.

While celebrating Walker’s new novel, guests enjoyed an elegant jazz performance by The Jazz Company. The talented quartet included leader Allan Schwartzberg, trumpet player Warren Vache, guitarist Bob Mann, and bassist David Finck.

Mike Walker’s Out For Blood: Private Diary of a Gossip Vampire was published by original Fifty Shades of Grey publisher The Writer’s Coffee Shop Publishing House on October 31st, 2013, and is currently available both in book stores and online.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Heralded as “the Hemingway of gossip” by America’s favorite shock-jock, Howard Stern, millions of readers have faithfully followed Mike Walker’s every word as the National Enquirer’s Guru of Gossip and a New York Times bestselling author.

A longstanding television and radio favorite, for years he hosted the nationally syndicated Mike Walker Show on the Westwood One Network (CBS), and was seen every Friday as a co-anchor on Geraldo, making the record number of appearances of any guest ever (264)! Guesting on such top TV shows as Nightline, Larry King Live, The O’Reilly Factor, Nancy Grace, Joan Rivers, A Current Affair, Entertainment Tonight and Charlie Rose, Walker has proven to be an engaging personality as Hollywood’s #1 source of celebrity gossip.

Out For Blood is widely available via all major online retailers and select brick-and-morter booksellers as of October 31st, 2013.

THE REAL RITA COSBY TAPES TONIGHT ON 'AT LARGE WITH GERALDO RIVERA'

Geraldo Rivera fights for the truth !

Greta Van Susteren with buddy thug-thief Lincoln Bain

Are you tired of hearing one-sided tapes provided by Lincoln Bain about Rita Cosby, making outlandish allegations? I urge you to watch Geraldo Rivera and Kimberly Guilfoyle tonight on Fox News Channel to listen to the REAL tape. Greta Van Susteren from Fox News Channel was provided with the real tape soon before her show last night. She decided instead to once again give airtime to liar Lincoln Bain who provided Greta with tapes slamming Cosby, but clearly leaving out any ones that look bad for him. Why is she coddling this thug? Why didn't Greta show Bain's own website that has this on it, posted recently:

The caption reads: "Rita Cosby wrote a book claiming that Howard and Larry are lovers!!! Damn! I coulda told her that. In Fact Anna’s former nannies told that to several media groups months ago. The media was afraid to touch it but I am glad that its out!!! "

Is Greta forgeting how a real newswoman is supposed to do her job ? She has Rita Cosby's tapes yesterday and decides to hold them for Monday to cash in on the ratings and decides to still play thug and thief Lincoln Bain's incomplete tapes? On tonight's Geraldo and later on the Line-Up, you will hear Lincoln Bain himself on tape say the nannies told him about the sex tape of Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead! So much for his credibility! He also says on the tape he believes the nannies. So much for Greta doing her job! She should be ashamed of herself for allowing Lincoln Bain to slander a honest newswoman like Rita Cosby who clearly went down to the Bahamas to further investigate other angles of her story. What journalist would not have done the same once you hear HER tape? Tonight hear the real story..... Bain not only admits the nannies saw the tape, but confirms that investigators were told this by the nannies too--which is exactly what Rita Cosby reported in her book. So Bain even provides further confirmation of what Cosby reported! So why did his story suddenly change now? You take a guess.

GERALDO RIVERA BILL O'REILLY FRIENDS

Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo Rivera said Friday there were no hard feelings after they engaged in a shouting match unusual even for a cable opinion program where the volume is frequently set to loud. No chairs flew and no noses were broken. But the finger-pointing verbal duel over illegal immigration on Fox News Channel's "The O'Reilly Factor" Thursday night became a water-cooler topic the next day. "Geraldo is a friend of mine and I think I respect him even more now, if that's possible, than I did before," O'Reilly told The Associated Press on Friday. But they disagree passionately on the issue, he said. "I've known him for 25 years," O'Reilly said. "Geraldo doesn't come on to pick a fight." Rivera said his sensitivity to a "massive witch-hunt" against illegal immigrants set him off Thursday. The two men were discussing the case of Alfredo Ramos, a man charged with manslaughter and suspected of being drunk when his car crashed into another in Virginia Beach last Friday. Two teen-aged girls were killed. Ramos, a Mexican who has been in the United States seven years, is allegedly in the country illegally. "He doesn't have a right to be in this country," O'Reilly said. He said he wanted immigration laws enforced while Rivera favored "open-border anarchy."Rivera said O'Reilly shouldn't be turning a drunken driving case into an illegal immigration issue. "Don't obscure a tragedy to make a cheap political point," Rivera told him. Rivera told the AP he has a particular sensitivity to the issue. His father, who came to New York from Puerto Rico in 1940, used to watch the news and pray that people who committed a crime weren't Puerto Rican, he said. "I think that illegal immigration is the gay marriage (issue) of this political season," he said. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and Puerto Ricans were granted U.S. citizenship in 1917. Rivera, who is a guest on "The O'Reilly Factor" once a week, said he doesn't come on to be cowed or bullied by the host's opinions.O'Reilly called him after the taping to say, "that was lively, eh?" he said. "We're friends off camera," he said. "On camera, the fact of the matter is that we disagree on so many things that it always makes for good television." Rivera was host of a daytime syndicated talk show famous for its liveliness, where he even had a nose broken in a scrum. He's been working for Fox News since shortly after the 2001 terrorist attacks, and recently had a daytime syndicated news show produced by Fox canceled. His on-camera duel with O'Reilly seems to have struck a chord, judging by the requests he's getting to talk about the issue, Rivera said. The tape was played a couple of times Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America." At one point in the debate, Rivera told O'Reilly, "don't be ... Lou Dobbs' mom." CNN anchor Dobbs has made a crusade of illegal immigration on his program the past year. That was a new insult even for a TV host used to them. "I have been insulted by your organization and many other organizations," O'Reilly told the AP, "so nothing I hear surprises me."

GERALDO AT LARGE

Mancow Eric Muller and Geraldo Rivera

Geraldo is back, this time in syndication with his show "Geraldo At Large" . The award winning FOX newsman digs into the hottest stories of the day and sometimes the greatest stories of yesterday. I really liked the segment from years ago when Geraldo smoked a joint and he admitted he inhaled. I've known Geraldo for over 20 years and he really is a nice guy. We had dinner a while back with his lovely wife Erica. I told them some wild things. While others looked at me in shock, and couldn't wait to sliver under the table, Geraldo just looked at me and said, "Gee I didn't know that, who would know". He's seen it all. Recently my friend and radio shock jock (He hates being called this) Mancow Eric Muller, was a guest and after the show we all went to Langans for some pints of beer and many laughs. So tune into Geraldo Monday-Friday on Fox 5 in NYC at 6:30pm, check your local listings elsewhere.

LANGANS RESTAURANT NYC--WHERE THE CELEBRITIES HANG

Mancow with Steve Dinleavy and Geraldo Rivera

Langans Owner Desmond O'Brian and wide eyed Steve Dunleavy

Geraldo Rivera with James Edstrom and Mancow

My favorite watering hole where the burgers are great and the staff the best is Langans on West 47th street between 6th and 7th Ave. You can watch Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo Rivera and all the Fox News stars hang out with all the reporters from NYC including the famed Steve Dunleavy of the NY Post. I have had more adventures there and you always get some great inside gossip. Bartenders Eddie and Donald along with manager Kathleen and owner Des O'Brian make sure your stay is fun and exciting. Tell them I sent you!
