NORTHWELL HEALTH SUMMER HAMPTONS EVENING RAISES 1.25 MILLION

The fundraising event honored Susan Pernick and featured a live Spring/Summer 2025 fashion presentation from the couture brand Akris. More than 150 people attended the event helping to raise nearly $200,000 for cancer research.  This year’s honoree was philanthropist Susan Pernick, who was recognized for her commitment to supporting cancer research.  Her philanthropic journey is notable, supporting numerous organizations across social causes: education, women's health, the arts, and Judaism. This year’s event honored Mike Rawls, chief executive officer at Xome Holdings LLC. Rawls received the 2024 Distinguished Business Leader Award for his steadfast commitment to supporting cancer research. The Gala raised more than $3.1 million for critical cancer research.  SWCRF is recognized as being a leader in an international movement to invest more funding in science aimed at stemming the global rising incidence of cancer due to aging.
