THE BRADY HUNTER FOUNDATION PADEL FOR A PURPOSE IN EAST HAMPTON

  Brady Hunter Foundation The Hamptons played host to a fusion of sport, philanthropy, and star power as The Brady Hunter Foundation presented Padel for a Purpose, a one-of-a-kind charity padel tournament benefiting children and animals at Brisas East Hampton.  Guests enjoyed a high-energy pro-am Padel tournament while music played throughout the night courtesy of DJ Rob Beer and DJ Bryan Griffin. The winners of what turned out to be a very competitive tournament were Hank Medina & Eymeric Chevalier, Philippe Laffont & Roby Gattiker came in 2nd and The Brady Hunter Foundation’s founder, Josh Fox, and his partner Pablo Rodriquez, came in 3rd.  The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF)  adoptable puppies seeking adoption onsite, ensuring the evening was as heartwarming as it was competitive on the court. A TAIL WAGGING START TO THE SUMMER SEASON WITH ARF HAMPTONS

(ARF Hamptons) held its Pet Celebration Day at the ARF Adoption Center at 124 Daniels Hole Road in East Hampton. The public was invited to bring the whole family, and pets too, for a tail-wagging pet fair dedicated to the joy our cats and dogs bring and the impact of ARF’s rescue efforts over the last 50 years. Admission to the event was free.  Attendees were able to learn about ARF’s programs and services, including the Operation Cat TNR program, dog training and socialization classes, volunteer opportunities, lemonARF, ARF’s Pet Food Pantry and coming later this spring, low cost spay/neuter clinics.  The festivities included music, vendors, a scavenger hunt, face painting, crafts for the kids, the dog agility course, “Ask the Trainer,” free nail clipping, free microchipping, low-cost vaccines, plus coffee, bottled water, and candy treats.   Kids Cancel Cancer Event For Waxman Foundation Kids Cancel Cancer is the latest fundraising event to benefit the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF), an international organization committed to funding world-class cancer research around the world. Unlike, other fundraising events, this event was created and is being organized by adolescents to specifically raise money for pediatric cancer research. The Foundation anticipates raising $100,000 and naming a pediatric research grant in honor of the co-chairs and committee. This amount will help support the work of two investigators for up to two years. In addition to raising vital funds for groundbreaking research, Kids Cancel Cancer will be an entertaining day of arcades, miniature golf, great food, raffle prizes, and more.
