Southampton Inn’s envious location was the place to enjoy the sunshine this Memorial Day 2016. On Sunday, May 29th, 2016, Southampton Inn hosted its annual Memorial Day BBQ on its beautifully planted and lit European courtyard, featuring dishes from the Inn's new restaurant Café Klyde, including signature burgers, sweet treats and margaritas. The Inn also offered gift bags filled with this summer’s bestselling beach books and other goodies from HamptonGiftBag.com, a division of Madison & Mulholland, to Memorial weekend hotel guests. Over 100 guests attended the event.

Café Klyde serves up dinner specials such as the Locally Caught Grilled Bass served with cous cous, olives, roasted tomato, black kale and lemon; a signature Hampton Clam Chowder; and the fresh Summer Salad, featuring local leaves, strawberries, feta cheese and shaved whole wheat. Pair with draft beers, a selection of wines, or signature drinks such as the Southampton Mojito Float. For those with a sweet tooth, the Chocolate Flourless Mini Cake with Fresh Raspberries and the Strawberry Trifle are not to be missed. Beach Magazine hosted a fete for cover star Actress Alexandra Daddario at the newly opened Hamptons hotspot Osteria Salina.



Guests enjoyed cocktails from Altaneve and Wölffer Estate Vineyard and light bites from Osteria Salina’s Sicilian menu at their brand-new, Wainscott location. Actress Daddario is starring in the new blockbuster film San Andreas also starring “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson. In an interview with fellow co-star Carla Gugino for the cover story for the magazine, Daddario discusses filming San Andreas as well as life growing up in both New York City and Southampton, NY. The restaurant's much loved patio is a mass of color with thousands of brightly hued blooms providing the exotic backdrop for casual dining in the heart of historic Southampton Village. For the past 30 years, 75 Main has remained a Southampton staple, attracting locals, visitors and celebrities alike. Owner and rising restaurateur Zach Erdem has revamped the year-round restaurant and lounge with exciting additions sure to spice up the 2013 summer season.



This summer, James Beard Award winner, Chef Mark Militello of 75 Main Delray will head the kitchen at 75 Main in Southampton, bringing a taste of South Florida to the East End. Often credited with putting South Florida on America’s culinary map, Chef Mark Militello is recognized for creating “Floribbean” cuisine, a unique style of contemporary American cooking that combines Italian, Asian and Caribbean influences. Chef Mark Militello has collaborated with Zach Erdem to develop an innovative new menu for 75 Main, featuring expertly-crafted dishes such as Grilled Lamb Chops with couscous and pistachio-mint pesto; Sweet Onion Crusted Halibut with fennel gratin and Marsala sauce; Truffle Crumb Stuffed Chicken Breast with broccoli rabe and Portobello mushroom fries; and Roasted Salmon with a balsamic honey mustard glaze, served over Fregola. Recently named one of Long Island’s best brunch spots by USA Today Travel’s 10best.com, 75 Main has extended its hours to open earlier, serving breakfast and brunch daily from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Diners can choose from favorites including Watermelon Salad with arugula, crumbled feta, chopped pistachios, red onion and passion fruit vinaigrette; Rare Coriander Seared Tuna Salad with mixed greens, ginger, sesame oil, soy vinaigrette and crispy rice noodles; and Mark’s Burger, Chef Mark Militello’s signature hamburger, topped with onion-tomato jam, bacon, arugula, Gruyere, blue cheese and a secret sauce.



After dinner, guests can enjoy 75 Main’s exclusive nightlife scene, as the restaurant transforms into one of the hottest lounges on the East End every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Guests can take advantage of weekly specials such as Tequila Tuesdays, with $2 tequila shots, $5 margaritas and $5 Corona bottles all night, and Ladies Night every Thursday, when ladies receive free cover, free drinks until 1:00 a.m., additional drink specials, and can dance to featured DJs. Bobby Van’s Steakhouse owners Joseph Smith and Rick Passarelli opened their Italian eatery, Sotto Sopra for the new summer season. Sotto Sopra has become known for its Italian cuisine, as well as the classic steakhouse fare that Bobby Van’s customers are accustomed to. The Amagansett hotspot has gained a celebrity following with actors Alec Baldwin, Cameron Diaz and John Slattery and designers Michael Kors and David Yurman.




Sotto Sopra is the Hamptons newest charming Northern Italian eatery, fusing a modern Tuscan atmosphere with traditional Italian cuisine. Under the culinary influence of Chef Josh Savi, the menu at Sotto Sopra features a wide selection of classic dishes which showcase the restaurants always fresh ingredients.
