DENISE RICHARDS KIDS TAKEN TO THERAPY

New television reality star Denise Richards has sent her two young daughters to therapy sessions, fearing they'll be scarred by their battling parents' bitter divorce and ongoing war of words in the media. The actress' publicist has confirmed 4-year-old Sam and 3-year-old Lola are "in therapy," according to "Access Hollywood." Richards and her newly remarried ex, Charlie Sheen, rarely speak directly, but have feuded through their lawyers and on TV since they split in 2005. The news comes a day after Richards and her father were spotted taking Sam to a Marina Del Rey hospital in California after the girl burned herself on a very hot pot while at her Hollywood star father's home on Tuesday. The hospital trip was just a precaution.

Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards were back in court in Los Angeles California today for another round at each other. After weeks of lashing out through the media, Richards was forced to miss a photoshoot for her new television reality show, and revealed during an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM show that Sheen had summoned her to court again. She told Seacrest, who is also the producer of her show: It’s Complicated - "I am sitting in the parking lot at the courthouse. He decided to take me to court this morning."If he is here we will see each other today. I imagine he’ll be here. He’s the one taking me to court. He should be here." Richards refused to reveal the nature of the hearing but it follows a nasty battle over custody of their two young daughters following their divorce in 2006.The star insists she is still hopeful there will be an end to the pair’s increasingly public war, telling Seacrest, "I hope that there is a way out.That’s the goal. This is ugly and humiliating and it’s bad for our children."For the girls’ sake, the best thing is for he and I to be cordial. It would happen on my part."

Sexy Hollywood star Denise Richards took her bitter ex-marital battle with Charlie Sheen to television screens yesterday, when they clashed over an e-mail the actress allegedly sent begging for a sperm donation from her bitter ex-husband. Richards laughed when "Today" host Matt Lauer showed her an e-mail Sheen claims she sent his fiancee Brooke Mueller after their divorce in 2006, asking for sperm so she could have a child on her own. Richards insisted she never sent the e-mail and didn't need Sheen's sperm, because she was dating Richie Sambora at the time. She told Lauer, "That is a doctored e-mail. ... I would never send an e-mail to his girlfriend. "If I wanted anyone's sperm, I would have asked for Richie's. "What Charlie doesn't know is that on the date of that e-mail, I found out through my mother's doctor that she had two to six months to live."I wasn't looking to get pregnant, especially with my ex-husband."
But Sheen -- who has two young daughters with Richards -- has hit back, with a statement released to the NBC show that reads: "Her claims that her e-mail has been fabricated or altered in any way to create this story are absurd. The mere fact that she continues to publicly discuss and harass both Brooke and me three years after our separation, which for the record is longer than the actual length of the marriage, is beyond desperate and speaks volumes."

Denise Richards is mourning the death of her mother. The 'Wild Things' star's mother Joni lost her long battle against kidney cancer in Los Angeles on Friday. Denise's representative Jill Fritzo said: "Joni passed away on Friday surrounded by family. "In February this year the 36-year-old actress admitted she was struggling to cope with her mother's illness. Denise said: "My mother has cancer. It's hard."The star worked to raise money for Houston's M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre,where Joni received her treatment. Denise was reportedly scheduled to be a guest host on US chat show 'The View' at the beginning of next week, but has postponed her appearance.The star is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Charlie Sheen regarding their two daughters Sam, three, and two-year-old Lola.Denise had been dating musician Richie Sambora - whose father died of lung cancer in April - but they split in March. The couple had been helping each other through their parents' illnesses and Denise attended Richie's father's funeral to support him, despite their split.In February she said: "Thank God Richie and I have each other not only to go through divorce, but to go through both our parents being ill."

Richie Sambora feels "great" after his "detox".The Bon Jovi guitarist - who completed a week-long program at the Los Angeles UCLA Medical Center last Wednesday, revealed he sought help because he was "drinking too much". However, he insisted he entered the facility for a "detox" and "did not check into rehab". He told the 'Today' show: "Instead of me heading into a place - I was just drinking too much and I needed to get my life together. I'm still in therapy and stuff like that, but it's good. I'm great. I feel fine."Front man Jon Bon Jovi insisted the band fully support Richie and vowed to help him through his troubles.He said: "We've been through everything together and there was no way that we were not going to be supporting Richie right now - and that's what we're doing. He's been through the fire, and we've been there for him."It has been a tough couple of months for Sambora. The actress has slammed reports she infuriated her Los Angeles neighbours by asking paparazzi into their gated community to capture images of her with her daughters, Sam, three and Lola, who turns one next month. Denise told Glamour magazine: "Paparazzi were climbing over the fence to try to get shots of me inside my house. "I had to hire a security guard to live with me and I kept the shades down at all times. It was awful. "Women would come up to me on the street all the time and say, ‘I admire you for conducting yourself so graciously.’ A year later when I was dating Richie Sambora, I was on the cover of every tabloid again. Suddenly the world hated me. I was called a husband-stealer and a back-stabber in the press." The 36-year-old beauty married ‘Platoon’ actor Charlie in 2002. Denise first filed for divorce in 2005 but later reconciled with Charlie and announced they were attending marriage counselling. However, the couple split again soon after and divorced a year later, after Denise filed for a restraining order claiming Charlie made death threats against her. Denise has since been linked with Bon Jovi guitarist Sambora, whose divorce with Heather Locklear was finalised last month.

Denise Richards is hunting for a bigger home so her ailing mother can move in with her. The actress' mother, Joni, is battling cancer and now the former "Bond" girl wants to invite her parents to live with her and her two daughters. Richards tells In Touch magazine, "I have decided to move to a larger and more secure home so my parents can move in with me, and my mother can be closer to her treatment center." The actress' mother, 53, was diagnosed with kidney cancer three-and-a-half years ago, but her condition has worsened in recent months.
Richards adds, "Helping my mother battle cancer is one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life. Her health and well-being are my main concern right now." The star has put her Hidden Hills, Calif., home on the market, and her parents have moved to Los Angeles from San Diego to help Richards house hunt.

PAPARAZZI LAWSUIT AGAINST PAMELA ANDERSON AND GAL-PAL DENISE RICHARDS

Celebrity pals Denise Richards (left) and Pamela Anderson have been named in a lawsuit filed by two photographers, who claim the actresses verbally and physically abused them. In a lawsuit, filed Thursday in Los Angeles, photographers Scott Cosman and Rik Fedyck allege Richards raged when she spotted them taking snapshots of her on the set of her upcoming movie "Blond & Blonder" last year. According to the lawsuit, which was obtained by TMZ.com , Richards spent 20 minutes hurling abuse at the two men and physically assaulted them at the River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver, Canada. The plaintiffs claim Richards then "snatched their laptop computers from their hands, and threw them over the (hotel) balcony," adding one of the computers allegedly struck "an elderly woman in a wheelchair." Canadian police investigated the incident and decided it "wasn't in the best public interest to bring criminal charges" against the actress. In the lawsuit, Cosman and Fedyck claim Richards and Anderson, her "Blond & Blonder" co-star, then falsely told the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that the photographers "had engaged in criminal activity." As a result, they were arrested and held by authorities for "approximately three days." Cosman and Fedyck are suing both women for assault, battery, defamation, false arrest and other charges.
