Celine Dion Celine Dion will resume her residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas in late August with a new act, her rep told ABC News . Dion, 46, announced last year that she was taking an indefinite leave from the stage to care for her husband, René Angélil, who had been diagnosed with cancer. "I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband's healing, and to do so, it's important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children," the singer told ABC News at the time. "I also want to apologize to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support." Dion, who has three children with Angélil, recently sat down with ABC News to discuss her Vegas show, her husband's condition and what's next for their family. Celine Dion Mom to be Celine Dion is relaxing and doing "almost nothing" to make sure she has a very smooth pregnancy after trying to conceive for over a year. The superstar at age 42, announced she is pregnant with twins yesterday, following a successful sixth attempt at in-vitro fertilisation. Celine is admitting her determination to give her nine-year-old son, Rene Charles, siblings has been a exhausting experience and she needed constant reassurance about the news in the first few weeks of her pregnancy. She tells Le Journal de Montreal, "They were truly great emotions after all our efforts. My doctors had to constantly reassure me. I (wanted) to see the babies. Each week I had sonograms. I heard their heart beats." "I feel like I’ve been pregnant (for) more than a year. I never gave up .. But I can tell you that it was physically and emotionally exhausting." Superstar Celine Dion Singing star Celine Dion has been left "bruised and numb" from her ongoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment and constantly bursts into tears over her pregnancy. Celine has been trying for another child with hubby Rene Angelil, and she has undergone four failed attempts by doctors to implant embryos in her uterus. The couple had embryos frozen for in-vitro fertilization while trying to conceive their first child, Rene-Charles, who is now nine years old. Last August the Celine also confirmed she was expecting, but that all ended in sadness when the doctors informed them that Dion was no long pregnant. Celine is also admitting she broke down when she was told the sad news. Celine Dion Grammy Award winning singer Celine Dion is returning to the Las Vegas Nevada in 2011 to begin a three-year run at the famed Caesars Palace. Celine announced yesterday that she'll return to the 4,300-seat Colosseum, home of her previous show, "A New Day." It grossed more than $400 million and was seen by nearly 3 million fans over five years before closing in December 2007. The new show begins March 15, 2011, with tickets for the first 54 performances going on sale tomorrow. Officials say ticket prices will range from $55 to $250 before taxes and fees. Dion says the new show will feature songs ranging from timeless classics to fan favorites, with a concept incorporating the romance of classic movies. "It's going to be a very beautiful show, and I think we'll be raising the bar higher than we've ever done before," Dion said in a statement. "There'll be some truly wonderful moments." Dion wants to attempt the process again, but she won't be too disappointed if she fails to conceive the second time around.The star, who is currently on her Taking Chances World Tour, tells talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, "We are going to give it a try after my tour. Pop singer Celine Dion now adds doctor to her resume, after receiving an honorary degree from a Canadian university.The ageless star was given the doctorate from the University Laval yesterday in acknowledgment of her personal and professional achievements.Speaking at the award ceremony at the Palais Montcalm, Celine told the 800 people present the diploma is "a very great honor for a little girl from Charlemagne." Talented Celine, who never finished high school, urged students to pursue further education, but noted, "the school of life is also very important." She added: "If there is something that has guided my life, it's my wish to excel and go farther, to the maximum of my abilities, to the top of my goals, my hopes and my dreams."

But now Dion’s representatives are insisting that the excessive $36,343.13 bill was caused by a burst water main underneath her mansion. The pipe was reportedly damaged in May 2007 when the previous home on the site was demolished to make way for Dion’s luxurious Jupiter Island complex. But the star only realized something was amiss when she was landed with massive costs from her local water utility provider. Singing icon Celine Dion has filed a lawsuit against an architect for failing to meet her demands on the construction of her Florida home, according to reports. Dion, who is seeking $250,000 in damages, claims builder Randall Stofft refused to comply with her requests for the construction of her $3 million mansion.The singer hired Stofft to build her Jupiter Island home in 2005, but the octagonal living room the singer commissioned was never built, reports TMZ .The home remains unfinished.

Las Vegas singer Celine Dion has been forced to pull out of an Australian concert due to ill health.The singer has postponed a Brisbane gig after contracting a throat infection and irritated sinuses. Dion says, "I’ve been looking forward to doing this show in Brisbane for so long."I’m really sorry to disappoint my fans tonight." Tour promoter Michael Coppel says Dion will now perform in Brisbane on March 31st and in Melbourne on April 2nd .The Sydney and Perth concert dates remain unchanged.
