Music producer Rodney Jerkins is behind Britney Spears to overcome her personal problems and resurrect her dead music career. The acclaimed producer Jerkins is praising Spears professional attitude after they recorded tracks for her new album.The troubled Britney went into a meltdown last year after the breakdown of her marriage to ex-husband rapper Kevin Federline, who she is currently fighting in the courts for custody of their children. But Jerkins says Spears was fully focused and quickly completed several songs during a recent studio session. He says, "She walked in at 8:30 and was out by 10:30." Jerkins described Spears’ new songs as "real aggressive and catchy."

MTV bosses are considering inviting toxic singer Britney Spears to September’s Video Music Awards (VMAs), even after 12 months after her disastrous ‘comeback’ performance at the huge event.The singer disappointed fans and the watching world with a lacklustre rendition of single Gimme More at the bash in Las Vegas last year, just six months after allegedly suffering a mental meltdown. She was later spotted crying backstage.But VMAs organizers want to give Spears the chance to redeem herself by taking to the stage once again. MTV president Van Toffler says, "Everyone deserves a second or third chance, right?" The VMAs are moving back to Los Angeles California this year, and will take place at Paramount Studios on September 7th.

BOOK CLAIMS BRITNEY SPEARS FEARS DEATH

Toxic singer Britney Spears is fearing she won’t live to see her 28th birthday, according to the author of a shocking new book about the wild singer. Biographer and journalist Ian Halperin spent 18 months studying the pop star, as an undercover paparazzo, getting close to the star and her close inner circle. And now he’s writing all about his findings in a new book which he hopes to have on shelves by next Christmas. Amid all the alleged claims of drug abuse, bipolar problems and suicidal tendencies, Halperin states Spears told him personally she fears she will die at 27.The biographer, who ironically penned a book about Kurt Cobain - who lost his life at 27, tells Life & Style magazine, "She told me she feared she’d die at age 27 (her current age), just like other music stars, like Janis Joplin and Kurt Cobain." A well known journalist is about to reveal all about toxic singer Britney Spears suicidal tendencies in a new book about the very troubled singer. Ian Halperin spent 18 months as an undercover paparazzo trying to get close to Spears and has now written about his encounters with the wild girl. He tells Life & Style magazine she twice tried to kill herself: "The suicide attempts are true. I know all the details about both of them." And a family insider is supporting Halperin’s claims, stating Spears threatened suicide many times during the time Halperin was investigating her from November 2006 until last month. Halperin also claims he saw Spears using drugs: "I partied with her and was able to really monitor what type of stuff she was using. It’s very concerning."

BRITNEY SPEARS SLAMMED BY LAWYERS

Mental and toxic Britney Spears has been slammed with a huge legal bill of almost $400,000. A Los Angeles California court judge ordered the singer to pay the cash to the numerous lawyers involved in all her legal battles over the past three months.That includes her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline and her conservator ship issues. At a hearing yesterday, commissioner Reva Goetz ruled Spears’ court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham will continue to receive $10,000 a week and Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator of Spears’ finances, will receive an advance of $100,000. People.com reports Wallet has not received a salary for his services to Spears since taking over her estate issues with the pop star’s father Jamie in February. Meanwhile, the law firm which won Jamie Spears control of his daughter’s affairs will also be advanced $175,000, and a lawyer representing the singer’s brother Bryan Spears has been handed a $22,000 windfall. Finally, Spears’ new divorce lawyer, Stacy Phillips, has been awarded $75,000.

Larry Rudolph is denying rumors that Britney Spears is recording a new LP under his supervision and is insisting their recent trip to a studio together was "just for fun". Rudolph, who is credited with discovering the toxic singer when she was just 15, was reportedly dismissed as her manager after he joined forces with her parents and staged an intervention to get Spears to enter rehab. But the former manager recently sparked rumors he has reconciled with Spears by declaring she is set to make a triumphant comeback to the music business. The pair fuelled speculation about their reunion when they were seen entering a Los Angeles California recording studio together earlier this week. But Rudolph has denied they are working on a new project together. He tells Usmagazine.com, "We went into the studio, but it was just for fun nothing more." A source confirms to the publication, "She just wanted to go in and tinker (play) around. She sat at a piano and got some ideas. She played the piano and sang a bit. She enjoyed herself."
