Anna Nicole Smith

A federal appeals court has ruled on Friday that the estate of the late model Anna Nicole Smith was not entitled to one cent of the more than $300 million she sought from the estate of her billionaire oil baron husband. The 15-year battle over the estimated $1.6 billion fortune left by Texan J. Howard Marshall, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with his late son, Pierce. The court ruling means that Smith's only surviving heir, her 3-year-old daughter Danielyn, will get nothing, lawyers for Marshall said. "It is an instruction that the case is over, and that E. Pierce Marshall's estate wins. Hopefully, this will be the end of it," Eric Brunstad, who represented the Marshall estate, said in a statement to media outlets. Anna Nicole Smith married J. Howard Marshall in 1994 when she was a 26-year-old topless dancer in Houston. Marshall was 89 years old then. Marshall died about a year later, that sparked a mean battle over his fortune between the former Playboy model and his son, Pierce, who died in 2006. Wrangling over the inheritance played out in Texas and California and also reached the U.S. Supreme Court in 2006. Anna Nicole Smith died of a drug overdose in 2007 and was survived by Danielyn, who was fathered by photographer Larry Birkhead. Smith's son Daniel from her first marriage died at age 20 in 2006 of a drug overdose. Before her death, Smith in hearings had argued that her husband promised her more than $300 million after his death, and that Pierce Marshall had interfered with her husband's wishes. But the son said the $7 million in gifts Smith received during the marriage was all his father wanted her to have. Friday's ruling said that federal courts must honor a 2001 decision by a probate court in Texas that found that Marshall did not intend to leave Smith any money after his death. Brunstad said Smith's estate could appeal the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court, but he hoped the case was now closed. "The family's position all along is that they have just been trying to vindicate J. Howard Marshall's wishes and to clear Pierce's name. Our position has always been that Pierce ... was just trying to follow his father's intentions," Brunstad said. Pierce Marshall's widow, Elaine, continued defending Howard Marshall's will on behalf of her late husband's estate, and the Marshall family said Friday's ruling vindicated their efforts. "The lies that were told about E. Pierce Marshall have finally been put to rest," the family said in a statement. "Pierce Marshall was never intimidated by Anna Nicole and her bevy of contingency fee lawyers, use of her celebrity and the legal system to try to loot J. Howard's estate."

Editors Note: It is very nice to see everyone is starting to walk away with nothing. This is what Howard K. Stern, Larry Birkhead and everyone else deserved, NOTHING! It amazes me how so many people have filed endless lawsuits against so many people to try to get money they never deserved. We can also only hope that the television shows and tabloids will also stop allegedly paying Larry Birkhead for photos of Danielyn. It is disgusting and makes us sick. We also hope that justice prevails in the California case against Howard K. Stern. It has been years now, with all these people, and it is about time justice is served!

Rita Cosby

Now that the Rita Cosby and Howard K. Stern battle is over, I have a few things to say about the vile people either involved in the case or the people that inserted themselves into the case. In all my years as a celebrity photographer, I have done stories for The National Enquirer, Star Magazine, Globe Magazine, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, The London Sun and hundreds of other publications. I always prided myself on being fair and balanced and always tried to be a nice guy. What I have seen in this Anna Nicole Smith case is so disgusting, I am amazed at what the courts let lawyers who have un-limited amounts of money get away with. I am also amazed at the disgusting people involved with the case.

First my view of Rita Cosby: Yes, she has been my friend for many years. She is my friend because she is a good person and a fair and caring person. When I got real sick years ago, I got rid of all the mean and horrible people in the entertainment business that just used me and could give a crap about me. I kept the wonderful ones and have never looked back. Rita is the kind of person who is more than fair. When I first met her when she was on Fox News, I would watch her do stories with love and compassion and most of all fairness. She always gave the person she was interviewing a fair shake, while turning up interesting facts and reporting the way the media should be reporting, fair and un-bias. She wrote the Anna Nicole Smith book based mostly on facts that were already out there. She never wrote the book to trash anyone, she wrote the book in a easy to read format based on information that was there for anyone to see, with or without a book. It was a New York Times Best Seller, so I think that speaks for itself.

Now my view of Anna Nicole Smith: Having met her a few times, I never cared for her. My friend David was her publicist for many years. She was always drunk or drugged up, I do not know which nor do I care. Here was a woman who had the whole world watching her and she threw it all away. She was a drug addict and a drunk who did not appreciate anyone around her nor did she appreciate the things that life had given her. She expected everyone to give her everything and she gave nothing back. Nothing back to the people around her and nothing back to society. When I saw her show on E, I was shocked that a network would give a woman who was nothing more than a glorified drug addict a show, and pay her to boot. She openly did drugs and alcohol around her son Daniel. The poor kid grew up watching his mom smashed all the time and to Daniel, this seemed normal. I blame Anna Nicole Smith and the people around her for Daniels death. Plain and simple. When you have a kid, you need to be a mentor. You need to look responsible, even know you may not be. Daniel died from taking methadone. Maybe we will find out where that came from in the pending case against Howard K. Stern in California. Maybe we will never know. I also feel bad for daughter Danielynn. Anna Nicole Smith took these drugs while she was pregnant. I am sure there will be problems later in her life from this. In reality, Anna Nicole Smith gave her un-born baby drugs. How can anyone do this. In my view, Anna Nicole Smith was a disgusting human being and a drug addict.

My view on Howard K. Stern: I can not put into words how I feel about this low life human being. If I gave someone prescription drugs like they are alleging Howard K. Stern and the doctors did, and they died, I would go to jail.

According to the Fox News website, Eleven prescription medications were found in Smith's hotel room the day she died, according to the medical examiner's office. More than 600 pills — including about 450 muscle relaxants — were missing from prescriptions that were no more than five weeks old when she died. Most of the drugs were prescribed in the name of Stern, her lawyer-turned-companion, and none was prescribed in Smith's own name. Anna Nicole Smith's boyfriend Howard K. Stern and two doctors were charged with giving thousands of prescription drugs to the former Playboy Playmate in the years leading up to her fatal drug overdose in 2007. Stern and doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich were each charged with three felony counts of conspiracy and several other charges of fraudulent prescriptions. Prosecutors said the doctors gave the drugs — including opiates and benzodiazepines — to Stern, who then gave them to Smith. California Attorney General Edmund G. Brown called Stern Smith's "principal enabler" in a press conference, adding that "[Smith] took the drugs almost to the point of stupefication."

Now you decide. Guilty or not guilty. Howard K. Stern lived off Anna Nicole Smith, plain and simple. Weather or not he gave any drugs to anyone, is not the question. Or is it? If you really care about the people around you, you must do everything to protect them. He knew Anna Nicole Smith had a very bad drug problem, yet according to the charges, allegedly kept supplying her with everything. A good person would do everything to get their friend help for their addictions. Many people also ask me if Howard K. Stern made money from media outlets before and after Anna Nicole Smiths death. The answer in my opinion is yes. I could be wrong, but from what I have seen and since I am in the media business for almost 30 years, this guy has made alot on money on the sad life and death of Anna Nicole Smith. Like I said, I could be wrong or I could be right. Will we ever find out, who knows.

On Rose Speaks: This website seemed to just come out of the blue to trash Rita Cosby in June 2007. I never was a reader, but I would get e-mails from people saying this vile website was writing such un-true bad things about Rita Cosby and at times wrote such un-true things about me. The very few times I went over there to see what they were saying, I could see right away that this was a site that looked like it was created solely for making Howard K. Stern look good and to make Rita Cosby look bad.

One posting from Rose Speaks On James Edstrom: Now what does the witness list tell us about Rita Cosby’s defense? First, we noticed she has many of the same witnesses as Howard K. Stern. However, Cosby now tells us that Bruce Littlefield of New York, alleged friend of Cosby’s good pal; James Edstrom was her “ghost writer”. James Edstrom, whom by the way is NOT on the witness list, I wonder why when he brags about being Cosby’s official photographer for years. Perhaps he will be added to the gang of Cosby’s defenders, as the trial gets closer, isn’t that what good friends are for? Perhaps James Edstrom was never a long time good friend and like so many others in this tragic tale, just hung onto the coat tails of Cosby for a bit to get his own publicity. Any of you know how long Edstrom has been Cosby’s “good buddy”? I continue to say this book read so bad that you have to wonder who wrote it and how quickly, you would think an “award winning journalist” would have taken some writing classes to get her degree. Who is Bruce Littlefield anyway, did he do some garage sale shopping books?

Debunking Rose Speaks: Well Rose, or whatever your real name is, why would I have been on the witness list? I knew nothing about the book, I think I met Bruce Littlefield once at a cocktail party at the Waldolph Astoria for like 2 seconds. Do you call that good friends? I would not even know him if I saw him again. Nice you use the word alleged to cover your smelly ass. But hey, we love that word too. Onto the coat tails of Cosby? Unlike you, who allegedly appears to have created Rose Speaks to ride the coat tails of loser Howard K. Stern, I did not use my friendship with Rita to get inside information. I decided my friendship was more valuable with Rita, than some stupid story. We never ever discussed the case. I stopped writing anything about the case, because I never wanted to be accused of being biased or using my friendship for information. Till this day, I have no idea who most of the players are, nor do I care. You are a mean vile person who should be ashamed of hurting such a nice person. It's also funny when the Cosby-Stern case was no longer, you announce you are closing down Rose Speaks. But here we go, Judge Larry Seidlin's new book " The Murder Of Anna Nicole Smith", behold. Rose Speaks is back. You are already allegedly trashing it, and you have not even read it. Who the F**k are you? The answer is no-one important. No-One at all! But I just wanted to tell you how vile and mean you are. I am sure you will have something to say, but you are no-one, so who cares.

On Lincoln Bain: This guy wanted his 15 minutes of fame and he did not care what he did to get it. His stories changed like the wind. I think I read somewhere recently that he opened a shoe store, which it great considering he always puts his foot in his mouth. And one has to wonder where the money came from....

On Lin Wood: I do not like this guy. He picks high profile cases, gets his media attention and disappears. I am not that stupid that the night of Rita Cosby's book party there was a TV crew outside that we kept asking to come inside. They insisted they wanted to stay outside, and behold Rita Cosby is served with papers and they get it all on camera. They were tipped off from someone and there is no doubt about it. Lin Wood loves the media spotlight. Funny how he has now disappeared since Howard K. Stern is fighting charges in California. He threw subpoenas around like they were going out of style and the sad thing is the court let him do this. I hope he lost a small fortune in expenses on this court case, as I do not think he will ever recoup what he has spent from Howard K. Stern.

My views on Larry Birkhead: I am ashamed I rooted for this guy to get his baby back. If it was not for Debra Opri, I think it could have been many more years for him to get Danielynn back. She took this guy, dressed him up and gave him a image that made everyone in the world want him to have his baby back. He finally gets the child and bam, joins Howard K. Sterns side. He joins Howard K. Stern, the man who went on Larry King and swore he was the father of the baby and not Larry. The man who tried to take Danielynn away from him. We also think the photo caption on Hollywood Gossip says it all. "We wonder how much money Larry Birkhead was paid to exploit his daughter on every entertainment news show he could find." We also wonder at Times Square Gossip about all these alleged gay rumors. When someone writes them, he says he will sue and he never does. What does that tell us? I tried to research to see if Opri was ever paid anything and could not find anything. Does any of our readers know? Larry Birkhead, you should be ashamed. You really should be.

What I think should be done now: Whoever gave Anna Nicole Smith these prescription drugs, should go to jail. I have no idea who did what, nor do I care about this case anymore. I think a message has to be sent out to the world about prescription drugs and the people that knowingly supply them. Weather the Anna Nicole Smith case or the Michael Jackson case, a message has to be sent. So many people have died recently because of the abuse of prescriptions. Hopefully people will start to educate themselves when they get a prescriptions from their doctors. Ask questions, go over everything you are taking with your Doctor and make sure you do not abuse them. Too many lives are being lost.

Finally: I hope I never have to write anything about this case again. The people involved make me sick. You are all vile low-lives who need to crawl back into the hole you came from!

Former actress Anna Nicole Smith's half-sister is suing the publishing firm behind her biography of the late star. She is alleging the company failed to give her a proper contract before releasing the tell all book. Donna Hogan penned Train Wreck: The Life and Death of Anna Nicole Smith about her older sister, who died of a prescription drug overdose in 2007. The book was released later that year, but Hogan claims bosses at Phoenix Books and Audio, Inc. went ahead with publication without signing a formal contract with her. In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles California Superior Court this month, Hogan alleges company chiefs failed to promote the book or attempt to sell the movie rights. The papers also accuse Phoenix Books of withholding a $200,000 advance payment which Hogan claims to have been promised, as well as 40 per cent of the biography’s gross profits.

Anna Nicole Smith

After over two years since Anna Nicole Smith died from a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs, authorities in California have filed the first criminal charges. They have targeted her former attorney and alleged boyfriend, Howard K. Stern. Stern, who was at Smith's side for years who once claimed to be the father of her daughter Dannielynn, has been formally charged with conspiring to furnish drugs to Smith prior to her death, prosecutors said yesterday. He was arrested and booked by police in Whittier, Calif., with bail set for $20,000, police records show. Also charged with felonies were two doctors, Sandeep Kapoor, 40, and Khristine Eroshevich, 61, who allegedly prescribed medication unlawfully to Smith, according to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office. Kapoor also was arrested and booked in Whittier. A warrant was issued for Eroshevich's arrest. The conspiracy counts allege the three defendants conspired to provide controlled substances to Smith from between June 2004 and January 2007. They also were charged with "prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict," among other charges. Smith, one of the most famous Playboy model's who starred in the reality series The Anna Nicole Show, died at age 39 in February 2007 of an accidental overdose of a combination of prescription drugs. Her death came just months after her 20-year-old son Daniel also died of a lethal combination of drugs. California's attorney general, Jerry Brown, alleges, Three people took part in the conspiracy to funnel powerful drugs that fed Anna Nicole Smith's addiction. "This was done knowingly and this was done with tragic consequences," Brown told a news conference a day after felony charges were filed against Stern. This was a conspiracy between three individuals," Brown said, adding that Stern was "the one that brought the drugs in many cases to Anna Nicole Smith." California's top prosecutor alleged hundreds of dangerous drugs were prescribed under false names, leading to Smith's death in February 2007. He said prosecutors will show that Stern and the doctors had to know that Smith was addicted to harmful drugs because she took so many drugs that had addictive properties and toxic side effects. Brown also suggested Smith's untimely death, and this prosecution, should send a message that pharmacists and doctors can be just as dangerous as street-corner drug dealers. "I'm very concerned about this indulgence by society," says Brown. "People think those drug dealers on the street corner are the only threat. People in white smocks in pharmacies and with medical degrees are a growing threat, and that's what this prosecution is all about." "The use of a fictitious name in itself is one thing," Brown says. "The use of a fictitious name to give excessive amounts – and we're not talking a few dozen, we're talking hundreds and hundreds of medications – was done not so much to conceal them from the paparazzi but to conceal from authorities the true nature of what was going on: an abusive and illegal pattern that is unconscionable, unprofessional and clearly illegal." According to the documents, the three provided Smith with "opiates, benzodiazepines, and other controlled and non-controlled substances." Stern and Kapoor were booked and released Thursday night. Eroshevich is said to be planning to turn herself in on Monday. All three are due for arraignment May 13th.

The Late Anna Nicole Smith

Hard hitting Lawyers for Anna Nicole Smith's estate, have stepped up the ongoing battle over the late reality star's inheritance from her dead husband, and are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to finally resolve the dispute, once and for all. Smith, who died in 2007 at the age of 39, was 26 when she married 89-year-old oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II in 1994. He died only a year later, and Smith claimed her husband had made an oral promise to give her half his huge estate. Smith, who was born Vickie Lynn Hogan, battled her late spouse's son, E. Pierce Marshall, to be awarded $88.5 million of his fortune. But the money has been held up in the appeals court, with Pierce Marshall arguing that various wills and trusts his father had prepared over the years named him sole heir. The Supreme Court ruled in May 2006 that Smith could pursue her late husband's fortune in the federal courts. Pierce Marshall died a month later, but the battle continued with the executors of his estate, and it is still going on after Smith's death, with her lawyers seeking the money on behalf of the star's 2-year-old daughter, Dannielynn. And now Smith's lawyers have filed papers claiming the dispute needs to be settled soon as most of Marshall's $125 million estate is now owed to the Internal Revenue Service, and Smith's settlement risks being lost if it continues to be held up by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The papers state, "Vickie's estate will undeniably suffer irreparable harm if the stay is not vacated, as Pierce's executor claims there is no money to pay the district court judgment, and Vickie's estate cannot pursue Pierce's missing billions unless and until the stay (hold on the money) is vacated."

Former supermodel Anna Nicole Smiths son Daniel died from an accidental drug overdose, a jury looking into his death has ruled. Daniel died in the Bahamas in September 2006, just three days after his mother Anna Nicole Smith gave birth to baby daughter Dannielynn. The so-called inquest, pretending to establish the 20-year-old’s exact cause of death, and, in the five months since its November start, has heard testimony from Anna Nicole’s former lovers Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern, as well as a number of Daniel’s friends. Autopsy results released in December found Smith died as a result of a lethal combination of methadone and anti-depressants Zoloft and Lexapro. Earlier this month, the magistrate instructed the jury to discuss four possible options as the cause of death - accident, misadventure, non-dependent drug use and an open verdict - after banning the option of homicide. The seven-member jury at a Nassau, Bahamas deliberated for less than two hours before delivering its verdict today. The jury has recommended no criminal charges be filed.
Editors Note: Boycott the Bahamas! This whole affair has been a sham. Imagine if in the United States we waited over a year and a half to investigate a death of a famous Bahamian. There would be a outcry heard around the world.

Anna Nicole Smith's and Larry Birkhead's baby Dannielynn has undergone surgery to treat her eye condition. The 17-month-old was recently diagnosed with Strabismus syndrome (cross-eyed), prompting rumors it was caused by Anna Nicole’s huge daily drug use. But Dannielynn’s father Larry Birkhead insisted she inherited the condition from the late former Playboy model’s father, and has now been successfully treated. Birkhead says, "Dannielynn is home from surgery and resting comfortably."
Editors Note: Wouldn't it be funny if E.T. just happened to get a exclusive. We wonder how much it cost this time !

Anna Nicole Smith chose so called photographer Larry Birkhead to give her the beautiful blonde baby she wanted, because he was good looking, according to the dead models bodyguard. In a new Television interview commemorating the anniversary of Smith’s death, the busty blonde’s longtime friend and companion Moe Brighthaupt insists his former client had no interest in a lasting romance with Birkhead. He tells the news show Access Hollywood, "Because of how Larry looked, she figured, ‘My child would look great - blonde hair, blue eyes… My baby will come out beautiful.’" And Brighthaupt insists baby Dannielynn’s biological father wasn’t even Smith’s type. He adds, "First of all, she liked men that was wealthy. That’s no secret." And then the bodyguard really turned on Birkhead, telling the news show that Smith told him she thought the photographer was a "homosexual" - a claim Birkhead has repeatedly denied, and criticizing him for taking his daughter to her mother’s grave site for a Television special last week. Brighthaupt explains, "I thought that was very disgusting… When he comes on TV and he parades her off it seems like it’s a laugh in Anna’s face." Before she died, Smith refused to acknowledge Birkhead’s paternity claims, insisting he wasn’t Dannielynn’s father.
Editors Note: Well I don't think this is news to any of my readers. Everyone has been saying the same things about Larry 'Sue' Birkhead for a year now. Anna Nicole Smith will never rest in peace !

Straight boys Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead

It's been a year since Anna Nicole Smith has died and still the fighting continues. Larry Birkhead the father of Anna Nicole's daughter Dannielynn, is once again threatening that he will sue over a book about the late television personality and model, the New York Daily News has reported. The book, Anna Nicole Smith: The Portrait of an Icon is written by Smith's dress designer Pol' Atteu and his partner Patrik Simpson and will be published this week by Corona Books. Birkhead said the book is inaccurate in several of its stories about him, specifically in its assertions that Birkhead is bisexual, according to the Daily News. According to Ben Widdicombe, the New York Daily News ever present gossip writer, The most damaging for Birkhead could be the couple's account of meeting him at Camp Kindle, a retreat for HIV-positive youth. "After our first meeting with Larry Birkhead he gave us the impression he was 'family,' displaying some unusual behavior by hitting on Pol' and myself," alleges Simpson. The book also claims that Birkhead's "secret rendezvous there included spending quite a bit of time with a particular young and handsome male counselor." "They are absolutely crazy, their stories are false, and they will be sued," Birkhead told the Daily News.

Larry Birkhead with Dannielynn

Larry Birkhead, the rich father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter has hit back at reports connecting the tot’s eye disorder to medications her late mother may have taken while she was pregnant. Baby Dannielynn has been forced to wear an eye patch and take medication to correct strabismus, which is slowly turning her cross-eyed. But her father, Larry Birkhead, insists tabloid reports linking the disorder to Smith’s drug use are far-fetched. In an exclusive interview with U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight (ET Again? Could there be a deal?) which will air tonight, Birkhead says, "All of the opinions that I had (from doctors), every one of them said that it’s very, very unlikely, because no one knows 100 per cent what causes this."I point-blank ask every single doctor, ‘Could any medications that Anna was on have caused this?’ and they said that it’s more likely that a genetic reason could have caused it." Once again a Entertainment Tonight Exclusive. Wonder why ?

Well the Bahamas inquest is here. Will there be justice for Anna Nicole Smiths beloved son Daniel ? With over a year passing and witnesses memories fading as well as many witnesses who are now scared about being sued by Howard Stern's lawyer Lin Wood, justice seems far away in the Bahamas. I have received many e-mails from readers that seem to think that the Bahamian government will give us justice. I am sorry, but I don't think so. Americans are not safe in the Bahamas. We are only the dumb Americans that spend twelve dollars on a Margarita. They could care less about crimes against the American visitors. Self serving Bahamians like Lincoln Bain only care about milking Americans for money and publicity.
Anna Nicole Smith's mother Virgie Arthur said Today that she hopes an inquest into the death of her 20-year-old grandson will lead to justice as a Nassau court gathered potential jury members to hear the case. Sorry Virgie, I don't think so. Virgie Arthur, who flew to the Bahamas for the long-delayed proceedings, has suggested foul play contributed to Daniel Smith's death last year from a combination of drugs, including methadone and antidepressants.I hope this starts the process of justice, Arthur told reporters as she entered the courthouse. The Bahamian Coroner's Court needs a seven-member jury to explore whether the death of the former Playboy playmate's son was accidental, suicide or perhaps even a homicide. More than a dozen potential jurors arrived Tuesday, but it was unclear when jury selection might begin. Daniel Smith died Sept. 10, 2006, as he visited his mother three days after she gave birth in a Nassau hospital to her daughter, Dannielynn. Anna Nicole Smith died in Florida on Feb. 8 at age 39 from an overdose of prescription drugs, including the painkiller methadone and a powerful sleep aid. In February, Arthur claimed in a television interview that Smith's boyfriend-turned-attorney Howard K. Stern played a role in both deaths, but she did not provide evidence. The inquest had been delayed by a challenge from Stern's legal team, which wants jurors to take a questionnaire to test for possible bias. Stern did not attend the session today. Meanwhile author Rita Cosby continues to stand by her New York Times best selling book 'Blonde Ambition' The Untold Story Of Anna Nicole Smith. It seems so many things in Cosby's book are coming true and I doubt if we would be getting so many answers if it wasn't for this book. Indeed Cosby's book is forcing action to be taken everywhere. But I guess we will have to wait again, as the Bahamians have now postponed the case till Nov. 19th. Their excuse, a hurricane is coming the the islands Wednesday. A 19 day hurricane ? The Bahamian government is a joke !
Please vote in our poll and leave us a comment here on what you think.

Seems to me everyone here knows the truth on Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern. We have to keep fighting for justice. Not that I liked Anna Nicole Smith. I met her a few times and she was a drug addict. She was always wasted and I was always made to feel not very comfortable, and I was partying too, so she should had looked better to me. My friend was her publicist for years and he told me Howard forced him out. Howard needed control. I may not have liked Anna, but she did not deserve to die at the hands of greedy people. It is very sad, and the loss of such a young life like Daniel. This kid had everything to look forward to. Anna Nicole Smith was not normal. She lived in a fantasy world. She had no talent. She became famous because she had big breasts and men drooled over her. She was every mans sexual fantasy and this is why she was famous. Her reality show was the worst TV I ever saw, the show was incoherent with Anna wasted all the time. Her life was dedicated to getting everything she could for free. I remember once she borrowed 80 thousand worth of diamonds from a famous Jeweler for some star studded event she was to attend. She refused to return them. She felt they belonged to her because she wore them and the Jeweler got publicity from her wearing them. The publicist tried in vain to get them back and even fed newspaper items saying that she refused to return the Diamonds. Nothing worked. Anna's life was about Anna and no one else including Howard K. Stern mattered. Howard was her slave, but he was smarter than she knew. We all know that now. Larry Birkhead was a hanger on hoping to make some money off photos of Anna. He was a loser in the Celebrity Photo business. Most likely, he shared any profits from the photos with Anna or Larry. Who knows. Birkhead showed his true colors when one moment he hated Howard K. Stern and trashed him in the media and then they are best friends. How dumb do they think America is ? He stiffed his lawyer. Deborah Opri worked day and night to make Larry Birkhead a star. Opri was never fired by Birkhead. The fact is Opri quit because she did not like the side deals that Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead started to make with each other. This did not sit right with Opri and she ended the relationship. Birkhead would never have gotten as far in the his case for custody of Dannielynn if he didn't have Opri. Opri made Birkhead shine. Opri is one of the most expensive Lawyers in the country, but she is also the best and she does not work for free. Her bill may have been huge, but look at the results. She's worth every penny. Rita Cosby knew there would be fireworks about her book 'Blonde Ambition'. When Anna Nicole Smith died, Cosby was everywhere on this story. She got all the best interviews and unlike published reports she never crashed the funeral, she was invited. Howard K. Stern saw her there and was afraid his exclusive with media outlets would be ruined so they asked Cosby to leave. Cosby felt so uncomfortable with Anna Nicole Smiths death, that she had to do something. Nothing added up in Cosby's mind. The death of Daniel and the death of Anna Nicole Smith bothered her till she decided to do something, and that was to write a book to get America asking questions. Writing the book was never about money. After years on the Fox News Channel and MSNBC, Cosby does not need the money. What Cosby needs is answers to why two people are now dead and everyone is making money off these deaths. Cosby's book asks the questions that need to be answered. The book is not about some gay fling, it's about timeline's between all the people involved in the deaths and nothing adds up. Cosby wants answers and she thinks America wants them too. As for threatened lawsuits, Cosby welcomes any and all litigation. This would give Cosby the right to question each and every person involved in this case. Howard K. Stern was named executor of Anna Nicole Smith's estate, while Larry Birkhead was named guardian of the couple's daughter Dannielynn, yesterday. A Los Angeles judge ruled lawyers must return to court later this year to review the former Playboy playmate's will. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff told the lawyers he was concerned about a clause in Anna Nicole's will disinheriting any children born after her son, Daniel, who died last September three days after Dannielynn was born. The model died in February of an accidental overdose leaving a will dated July 2001 which named Daniel as sole benefactor. The will stated: "I have intentionally omitted to provide for other heirs, including future spouses and children and other descendants now living and those hereafter born or adopted."One of Anna Nicole's attorneys, Bruce Ross, said he'll prove at future hearings that the clause is "extraordinary and improperly drafted" and should not stand. Ross promised to send copy of the court documents to Anna Nicole's mother Virgie Arthur. Stern has estimated the late model's assets at $710,000 - but this could increase substantially pending the outcome of a battle over the estate of Anna Nicole's late husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall.

A judge has thrown out an appeal by Anna Nicole Smith's estranged mother Virgie Arthur to prevent her baby granddaughter from leaving her home in the Bahamas. Arthur had hoped to stop baby Dannielynn's father Larry Birkhead from leaving the islands to return to the U.S. with his daughter. But at the Court of Appeals in Nassau Friday, Arthur's request was ridiculed by a judge, who also ordered her to pay $3,000 in attorney's fees for wasting the court's time. He told Arthur, "I am perplexed why this matter is before us." Birkhead reportedly plans to first stop in Kentucky, where the photographer hopes to introduce his baby daughter to family members.
Lets go Virgie..Whats your next move !

The Anna Nicole Smith story

Anna Nicole Smiths death may have sold lots of newspapers and magazines, and are what movies are made of, but her personal diaries refused to sell at auction. Her two personal diaries that most would think were worth big bucks, in Texas on Saturday. The journals, written in the early ’90s, initially had at least two bidders before Smith’s former partner, Howard K. Stern claimed they were stolen and should be returned to her estate. "Make no mistake: these items were stolen from Ms. Smith by one or more thieves," attorney, L. Lin Wood, wrote in a letter to Doug Norwine, the director of music and entertainment memorabilia at Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas on Wednesday, reported. "Ms. Smith's Estate intends to vigorously pursue the return of the diaries, will take whatever means necessary to secure their return, and will hold to account those persons and entities that have profited through their reprehensible acts at the expense of the Estate." "On behalf of the estate, Mr. Stern hereby requests that the diaries be returned to him immediately," the letter added. TMZ also reported that the man claiming to be original owner of the diaries, denied Wood’s claims, saying that "the facts he mentions in the letter are FALSE -- these diaries are NOT stolen, (They were obtained BEFORE her death) -- he is just trying to steal more money in the name of Anna Nicole." The auction house said yesterday the journals, which contain entries about Smith’s weight problems and issues regarding her personal life, are now available for a minimum bid of $25,000 each. “We have a buy-it-now situation,” said Norwine but added the bidders just “got cold feet” following Stern’s public claim. The auction house reportedly got the journals among other items from an anonymous German businessman who purchased the items on eBay for more than $500,000 several weeks ago. The German businessman decided to auction the diaries after securing the publishing rights, Norwine said. The two personal diaries were supposedly written between 1992 and 1994 and provide details regarding Smith’s feelings for her late husband, oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. Along with the journals, the auction house also obtained a $16,954.66 receipt from a Bloomingdale's shopping spree in 1992, a signed bank check from Smith and her 1994 Texas photo ID card. "In the absence of a judge stopping this auction, this auction will go forward," Norwine was quoted by CBS as saying. "After the auction we'll determine what happens. We will continue to take the high road.”
Question : If Larry Birkhead is the father and in charge of the estate, how can Howard K. Stern demand them back ?

'Rich' Larry Birkhead

A hearing in a Bahamas court on Friday failed to end a prolonged battle over custody of late Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, 7-month-old Dannielynn. Larry Birkhead a Los Angeles photographer and former boyfriend of the billionaire's widow, was identified on Tuesday as the father of the baby, who could one day be worth a fortune if Smith's estate wins a decade-long battle to inherit from her former oil tycoon husband J. Howard Marshall. Friday's hearing over custody of Dannielynn, at which Birkhead had been widely expected to be awarded guardianship based on court-ordered DNA tests, adjourned soon after it got under way. Damien Gomez, an attorney for Smith's long-time companion Howard K. Stern, said the hearing was suspended at the request of lawyers for both Birkhead and Smith's mother Virgie Arthur. Gomez did not elaborate. But John O'Quinn, Arthur's lawyer, told reporters Birkhead and his client had agreed to meet privately on Saturday in an apparent bid to reach an agreement over custody of the child. Without any lawyers present, O'Quinn said the father and grandmother of Dannielynn would try "to figure out what they believe is in the best interest of this child and try to get it done." Whatever plan they come up with would then be submitted for court approval, O'Quinn said.

Anna Nicole Smith and ruthless Howard K. Stern

Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith's attorney and partner, filed a defamation lawsuit Friday against the lawyer for Smith's mother. The suit, filed in federal court in West Palm Beach, Florida, alleges John O'Quinn, attorney for Virgie Arthur, defamed Stern in statements made on television after the actress' death in February. "The lawsuit focuses on Mr. O'Quinn's recent appearances on a number of national television shows in which he has made public accusations of murder and other misconduct against Mr. Stern in connection with the Anna Nicole Smith case," according to a statement released by Stern attorney L. Lin Wood of Atlanta, Georgia. Wood specifically cited a February 21, 2007, interview from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for the Fox News show "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren." "As stated in the complaint filed today, Mr. O'Quinn's accusations against Mr. Stern are false and Mr. Stern seeks to hold him accountable through the civil justice system." O'Quinn could not be reached for comment Friday. In the Bahamas on Friday, attorneys in the custody case surrounding Smith's 7-month-old daughter said the judge wants Larry Birkhead -- declared Tuesday to be the child's father -- and Arthur to come up with a plan regarding access to the child. The two were supposed to meet Thursday but did not. The judge told the parties to get together and appear in court next Friday. O'Quinn told CNN's "Larry King Live" earlier this week that Arthur would not seek any sort of guardianship for baby Dannielynn after Birkhead's paternity was revealed. After the custody hearing, Stern said Birkhead has been visiting Dannielynn at Stern's home, where she has been staying since Smith's death. "At least informally, the transition period has already begun," Stern said. "Larry spent the majority of the last days over at the house getting to know Dannielynn. He's been changing diapers, he's been feeding her, he's been playing with her, and if you ask me, he's been doing a great job." Stern, who is listed as the girl's father on her birth certificate, initially was battling Birkhead in court over paternity until DNA results proved the child was fathered by Birkhead. A hearing regarding the formal transfer of custody is scheduled for next Friday. "If it were up to me, the formal order in terms of giving Larry full custody would have occurred today, but unfortunately it didn't," Stern said.
