Martin and Jean Shafiroff hosted an elegant evening reception at her new home in Manalapan to honor the Historical Society of Palm Beach County and its work preserving the region’s cultural legacy.
The private gathering brought together 120 guests - a mix of Palm Beach supporters, civic leaders and community philanthropists for an intimate night focused on stewardship, education and the stories that continue to shape the county. Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while learning about the Society’s efforts to safeguard archives, support exhibitions and expand access to local history through programming that serves residents and visitors alike.

Jean Shafiroff, long recognized for her charitable leadership, spoke about the importance of investing in institutions that protect community identity and inspire future generations, “Palm Beach County has an extraordinary history, and it is important that we preserve it and share it. The Society plays a vital role in keeping these stories alive, and I am proud to bring people together in support of that mission.”
