DEMAND FOR ORGANIC PRODUCTS SPIKE IN WAKE OF COVID-19

NEW YORK, NY: Bob Golden, son of the New York-based family who created the Snapple tea empire, has re-entered the beverage market, but this time focusing on organic and all natural product. Their first-of-its-kind product uses the sap of birch trees to sweeten fruit water to create a fruit water that is low in calories. Golden and Treo have seen a massive spike in demand in the wake of COVID-19 as Americans have been seeking low-calorie and healthy alternatives to high sugar beverages, with approximately 4,500 new accounts in the New York area since the coronavirus pandemic began in March.

They anticipate to have over 11,000 new accounts nationwide by July, ranging from New York to California, which is consistent with the 79% demand spike for low calorie beverages since march in food stores, delis, and supermarkets across the country.
