The Olare Motorogi Conservancy has a strong research program based at the Tony Lapham Predator Hub, the flagship Mara Cheetah Project and Mara Lion Project have been at the forefront of predator conservation in the Greater Mara region for several years. The research and monitoring work contribute to both local and national strategies for protecting these magnificent predators, as well as conservancy management decisions. In addition, the Conservancy has a limit of 94 tourists at any one time staying on the lands.
