The ring is still on.
Two days after it was announced that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are divorcing, Green stepped out in L.A. today still wearing his wedding band and E! News has the exclusive photos.
Dressed casually in red sneakers, dark shorts and a white tee, the 42-year-old actor hid his face behind sunglasses while getting gas at the gas station. Green appeared straight-faced and didn't show much emotion as he ran errands during his first post-separation sighting. Green filled up his SUV before driving away.
Green's outing on Friday comes barely hours after Fox officially filed for divorce early this morning. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, per court documents obtained by E! News. Megan has requested joint physical and legal custody of sons Noah Green, 2, and Bodhi Green, 18 months.
The date of separation is listed as June 15 (the exes were last seen together in public on June 9, 2015, in Beverly Hills).
Fox and Green announced their split on Wednesday. The longtime lovebirds were together for 11 years and were married for the last five.
Green also has a 13-year-old son, Kassius Green, from a prior relationship.
Although both stars have yet to comment on the reason for their split, a source told Us recently, "They fight about her career. He would prefer she focus on the family more than being obsessed with getting roles."
Another source told People, "They will always love each other very much and are devoted to their kids. Anything could happen in the future, but for now they've decided it's best to take some time apart."
