TOTO'S 35 ANNIVERSARY TOUR "LIVE IN POLAND"

**** THE GLORIOUS CORNER Story By: G. H. HARDING **** Toto Live In Poland HUMAN CANCELLED --- According to Deadline Hollywood, “Fox has opted not to pick up a second season of Almost Human. The futuristic drama starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy got off to a dodgy start in November but held enough ground to at least earn renewal consideration, often finishing on par with its Monday companion (the already-renewed drama The Following).” Almost Human‘s chances started to slip once Fox’s drama pilots started to come in. All three of them — Gotham, The Red Band Society and Empire – are considered strong contenders for a series pickup. That didn't bode well for Almost Human. Almost Human, about a cop (Urban) paired with a lifelike combat-model android (Ealy), comes from the Fringe -team of JJ Abrams and J.H. Wyman and while the first few episodes were a bit hard to process, once it got up and running, it was great. Urban’s sardonic-nature and E

Betty White With Larry King Age is only a number for the unstoppable Betty White! Using her unrivaled wit, the beloved 92 year old charms Larry King with tales from the Golden Girls era, comments on today’s troubled young stars and even gets a visit from the Kings' pooch, Biscuit. During her "Larry King Now" interview, the "Hot in Cleveland" star expressed her opinions on gay rights: “I don’t care whom you sleep with. It’s what kind of a human being are you [that's what matters to me]. I don’t understand [why people are anti-gay]. It’s such a personal private business and it’s none of mine.” "You're so right," Larry King said in reply. Betty White is the latest celebrity to speak out on the issue. She also shared that she is infuriated by "ungrateful" young stars like Lindsay Lohan, Justin Bieber, and Chris Brown because of their selfish actions. “I get furious, if you must know," s

Chrissy Teigen Model Chrissy Teigen looks fun and fearless on the cover of June Cosmopolitan , on newsstands nationwide May 6th. She wows on not one but three covers this month, and takes it all off in her spread, dipping her famous curves in a soapy bathtub as she comes clean about her romance with hubby John Legend. In her interview, she opens up about their first night together, the craziest place they’ve ever had sex, and taking her career to the next level. On hooking up with John Legend on the set of his hit 2009 single “Stereo,” and building their relationship: “I’m not going to lie. We hooked up. [When he went on tour] I left him be himself for a while. The worst thing you can do is try to lock someone like that down early on, then have them think, There’s so much more out there. I played it cool for a long time. Never once did I ask, ‘What are we?’ Marriage was never my goal, because I’ve never been very traditional. I was just happy to be with h

REMARKABLE TALENTS IDINA MENZEL & ANTHONY RAPP

Image
**** THE GLORIOUS CORNER Story By: G.H. Harding **** Idina Menzel IF/THEN – There’s certainly no question at all that Idina Menzel and Anthony Rapp are huge, huge talents. Menzel, for her exemplary work in Wicked; on the TV show Glee and her song “Let It Go” from Disney’s biggest animated movie of all time, Frozen; Rapp, for his outstanding work in Rent; which has really got to be in my Top 2 Best Plays of all time. That said, I walked into Menzel’s headlining stint in the current Broadway-paly If/Then, really wanting it to blow me away and it did … sort of. The play, loosely based in the 1998 movie Sliding Doors starring Gywneth Paltrow and John Hannah, is about a girl (Elizabeth) Menzel, who reflects on how her life would have gone if she had made other choices than she has. At first it’s a bit dodgy figuring out which Elizabeth is doing which thing; whether it’s meeting ex-soldier Josh (a strong James Snyder); or, whether she’ll be co-habiting with best
