Composed of lead guitarist, Chad Taylor, bassist, Patrick Dahlheimer, drummist, Chad Gracey and vocalist, Chris Shinn, Live is an American Rock Band from York, Pennsylvania. The band came together in 1988 at a middle-school talent show in their hometown. They spent their high school years together playing new wave covers and playing concerts. In 1991, the band signed their first contract to Radioactive Records.

Under their new band name, Live, the band worked with producer Jerry Harrison. Their single, “Operation Spirit (The Tyranny of Tradition)” went to number nine on the Modern Rock Chart. The single was then followed by their debut album Mental Jewelry, which was released in 1991.

Live’s second album, Throwing Copper, earned them mainstream success. Songs such as “Lightning Crashes,” “I Alone,” “All Over You” and “Lakini’s Juice” all remained both cultural and musical pillars of the nineties. Their songs “Dolphin’s Cry” and “Overcome” brought the group triumphantly into the 21st century. They performed in several tours such as the MTV 120 Minutes Tour, Woodstock ’94, and Peter Gabriel’s WOMAD Tour as well as performing on NBC’s Saturday Night Live. Many of their individual singles and albums have topped several of Billboard’s top music charts. Together, the band has sold over 22 million albums worldwide.

Walking Heroes is a new rock band from Norway. Formed in 2012, the band is made up of singer and guitarist Vegard Navelsaker Klaeboe, lead guitarist, Anders Sovde Henriksen, bassist Joachim Eikeri, and drummer Fredrik Kollsete. Their debut album "The Beginning" was released in November 2013. The music can be categorized as melodic rock, where catcy melody lines are central to their musical expression.
