Couric was one of the first journalists to interview the families in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, and through this episode of “Katie,” airing MONDAY, MARCH 4, she will share how this town is dealing with their grief and its commitment to ensure that their loved ones have not died in vain. Following the sudden death of her husband four years ago, Huston was looking for something to fill the void in her life which she found in NBC’s Smash—her first venture into series television.
