Lou Dobbs, the most opinionated and right on the money anchor at CNN, resigned on Wednesday night, saying in his final broadcast that he wants "to go beyond the role" of a television journalist in tackling the country's problems.The announcement by Dobbs, who has a huge opposition to illegal immigration has come to define his career. In fact, many of the stories Lou Dobbs reported on in our opinion, were right on the money. The many things we complain about on Times Square Gossip, were also on Lou's mind. He spoke about what he thought, and I think millions of Americans also had the same opinion on many of the issues, including immigration. Illegal Immigration is destroying this country, and Lou sees this. They pack our emergency rooms, they have children here which we have to support in our schools and everywhere else, and most of them pay no taxes to support our system in this country. They are draining our society. They take our jobs in restaurants, Deli's, Construction and everywhere else. They are very hard workers, but they need to do one thing and that is coming to this country Legally and paying into our system. We would welcome the millions of immigrants, but they must contribute to our society. Lou Dobbs understands this, and it is a shame his voice has been silenced at CNN. We wonder when America will wake up and see what is really happening.
