VICTORIA BECKHAM SLAMS STARVING GOSSIP

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is speaking out to about gossip reports that she is starving herself to stay thin. The former singer, who is now a fashion designer is known for her very skinny frame and has long been subjected to media speculation suggesting that she eats very little. Victoria has now decided to respond to all the gossip, and is insisting the claims are "irresponsible" and could have a negative effect on her young fans. She tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "I am fine -- happy and healthy. It's irresponsible when people obsess about my shape and size. I appreciate there are young girls and women who look to me as a role model and it is simply untrue to say I do not eat and I am unhealthy. "I have a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle and plenty of energy to run after my three energetic boys and travel the world managing my fashion business."
