VIGIL AT JENNIFER HUDSON FAMILY HOME

Fans of Hollywood star Jennifer Hudson gathered outside her family home in Chicago on Monday evening to hold a candlelight vigil following this weekend's brutal murder of her mother, brother and little nephew. Chicago police discovered the body of Hudson's nephew, 7-year-old Julian King, in the back of an abandoned car in the city on early Monday morning. Julian, the son of Hudson's sister Julia, went missing from the family's home in the windy city on Friday, following the murder of Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson.The star reportedly identified the Family friends joined the group of fans and strangers outside the makeshift memorial on South Yale Avenue, where people had left cards, balloons, stuffed animals and photos of the victims.They showed their support for the actress through prayers and songs, including a rendition of Hudson's song "Spotlight."Hudson's estranged brother-in-law William Balfour is currently being questioned by police in connection with the murders. He has yet to be charged with any crime. Meanwhile, bosses at Fox Studios, who are behind Hudson's latest movie, "The Secret Life of Bees," issued a statement addressing the tragic deaths. It reads: "Everyone at Fox Searchlight and Twentieth Century Fox wishes to extend our deepest condolences to Jennifer and her family. Our thoughts are with them in this time of profound sadness."
