BRITNEY SPEARS STILL UNDER CONTROL

Britney Spears

Toxic singer Britney Spears will remain under her father's conservatorship on a permanent basis, a Los Angeles California judge has ruled. Jamie Spears was put in charge of the pop stars estate and personal affairs in February following her very public meltdown. The conservatorship was originally due to end on December 31st, but Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled on Tuesday that Jamie will stay on indefinitely as co-conservator, with attorney Andrew Wallet. The decision comes after Spears' lawyers put forward the court motion. Her court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham told the judge: "I've met several times with (Britney) and she requested that I not object to the permanent conservatorship."Goetz concluded that the permanent conservatorship was "necessary and appropriate for the complexity of financial and business entities and her being susceptible to undue influence."It is claimed that Spears hopes the move will help her to regain custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
